Smith
Hello, here are my tips for making a successful RPG
game.
1.Have at least 5 Good guys who all gain experience in Hit Points
and Magic, but do not start out with all of your good guys, just start
out with 1 or 2.
2.Have a lot of tuff bosses but not too tuff that your good guys arent
ready for.
3.Have around 250 Weapons and Items in the game, and when you get
farther down the road the weapons and items keep getting better and
better.
4. Make a lot of different ways of transportation, Like have a car,
a boat, and a train for example.
5.Have a name for your money besides money, make something up, some
other games have called it Gill, Zenny, and coins, well coins isnt
such a weird one but it worked.
6.All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy, meaning you should have
a lot of games you can play if you get tired of fighting bad guys,
like make a whole place where you can bet your money on games like
slots, craps, poker, and blackjack.
7.You need an arch enemy, he/she needs to be really really evil, and
maybe even someone who your main good guy is trying to get his/her
revenge on, because he killed one of the main good guy's close friend's
8.The game needs to be at least 10 hours of game play if not more.
9.You need top of the line graphics, and some not playable scenes
made in CGI.
10.You need a lot of bad guys like 150, not including bosses or the
arch enemy.
11.Your main good guys need to be able to gain experience and every
time they gain a level it will be harder to get to the next one.
12.Have a lot of great music.
