The plight of a 14 year old who loves NES

I believe that there was only one good game made for N64. Goldeneye . Simple to learn, impossible to master. And, it’s only fun in multiplayer mode anyway. I miss the old Zelda, the old Mario games, Metroid, Bomberman, Mega Man especially. I believe Nofrendo put it best, "8 bits is good enough, damn it"
Unfortunately, I only get to play these games when my neighbour invites me over to play on his original NES system. I play Zelda a lot there, and I haven’t played my all time favorite game, Mega Man 2 in YEARS.
See, it all started when I was born. 3 months before my birth, my brother got an NES for his birthday. The games we had accumulated from the time we got the NES to now, is 12 I think. Mario 1, Mario 3, Rad Racer, Track and Field, Sesame Street (don’t laugh, I was 5), Spelunker, Bomb Jack, Ring King, that’s all I remember. This as you can see is not a very extensive collection. But, my neighbor who had since moved away had a quite large collection of NES games. I would borrow a different game every month. I loved this situation because it got me acquainted with Nintendo games. But then, I wasn’t as interested in games that required intellect, like Crystalis or Final Fantasy, then because I was small.
I could trade in my piece-of-crap Playstation and Sega Genesis at Funcoland and buy an NES, but my dad rules my house with an iron fist. As soon as I can drive, I am buying an NES and every game that I love.
