Pokémon craze!

Ever since I first heard about a game called Pokemon, I was skeptical.
What a stupid idea, but as Nintendo Power started publishing more information about it, I became curious. Finally when they published the first issue of Pokemon Power and made Pokemon.com. I couldn't take it anymore! I went out and immediately bought a copy of the game. The blue version looked more appealing, so that's the one I took.

I also got a players guide, since I am the worst at RPGs. Since that day, me and my Game Boy never spent a day apart. I finally beat the game a couple of weeks ago, with Dugtrio, Vaporeon, Articuno, Moltres, Sandshrew, and Zapdos. I was so proud I hugged my game boy, and now I'm on a mission to get all 150 pokemons.

When I left the Indigo Plateau that day, I knew my friendship with Vaporeon and Dugtrio would soon come to a close. they were the first pokemon I ever took seriously besides Squirtle, who I named Lil Squirt.
They came with me everywhere. I never put them away until after that last battle with Gary.

After that, I went to the Pokemon Centre. I sadly turned on the computer and deposited Zapdos and Moltres, then Articuno, who I really liked because she was my first rare one. Then came the inevitable. I grimly deposited Vaporeon and Dugtrio into the computer. it was hard to say goodbye, but I knew I had to because I had to evolve more than 50 other pokemon. since that day, I have grown to love my other pokemon (except Kakuna, the little bugger) but not as much as Vaporeon and Dugtrio. They were always my favourite, and when I finally walk down victory road, they will be by my side, along with Articuno and Lil Squirt, now a Blaistoise.

hm... I never knew Nintendo could delve that deep into your psyche, but I guess I was wrong.
