SNES Mario Kart vs N64 Mario Kart
By: The junkie

Lately, I have been playing N64 Mario Kart and SNES Mario Kart more then ever. I have noticed I like them both and at times I can't decide which one I want to play. So, I decided to see for myself which one was better by simply evaluating it.

GRAPHICS- Ok, the N64 slaughters the SNES Mario Kart in this. Yet, the SNES version wasn't terrible, considering Nintendo did not quite know the capabilities of the new system. (Mario kart snes was made in 1992)

MUSIC- The Snes version take this category. Each character had it's on music, un like the N64 one. The music on the N64 was more easing and pretty good yet the SNES music is just plain better.

GAMEPLAY- The Snes version is harder. Try doing Rainbow road, it is not as easy as the N64 version. Mario kart 64 is easier and pretty fun to play yet the SNES version was more challenging and also just as fun. The original Mario Kart was pretty cool to play, with green pipes to avoid and coins to get. The items on the NM64 were slightly better.

Overall- I'd say the SNES version is more fun to play and challenging yet the N64 graphics over powers the million seller Mario Kart.
