Time to face facts
By: LegendProtector@aol.com

On September 7th, 1997, a wonderful T.V. show aired for the first time in america. That show was Pokemon. It created a sensation in me and millions of others around america. A couple of weeks later, Pokemon was everywhere from billboards to pencils. And I liked it.

Then I turned thirteen.

On september 7th, 1999, two years after Pokemon came out to the day, my outlook on Pokemon did a 180o. I hated it. I tried to convince myself I still liked it by buying some cards. 2 hours later, I asked my mom to drive me to All star (A comic store in my town wich is sadly out of business now) so I could sell the Charizard I got.

A year later I tried to convince my self still by buying Pokemon Gold and silver, I beat it in 2 weeks, and hardly ever played it again. I am like millions of others. I see the big picture now.

Pokemon is dying.

The money-making fad has died in japan. It is dying in europe, and it is almost dead here. Nintendo is making one last ditch attempt at Pokemon by releasing Crystal version. But they should face facts like I am. Zelda,

Metroid, Mario, all the classics are making combacks. New chariters like Conker, Jonna Dark, and Onox and Veran are making the money now. No longer Pokemon is what everyone is talking about. It is Tony Hawk, Magi-nation, and the Zelda: oracle series.

It is the begining of the end for the Pokemon fad. No longer young and fresh... but old and weak, Like a 23 and a half hour fruit fly.

I am sorry If I offended anyone.
