Don't you think you're giving them a little too much credit?

This article has three subjects: Mario, Pokemon, and Zelda.

Mario you know I respect. He's the longest running character in Nintendo history (he's the mascot, of course), he has a legion of fans (me included), and he has merchandise GALORE! But Zelda I respect too. I've beaten Link to the past, played Zelda 1, and seen all the others in action. It looks brilliant! But I say this:

Don't you think you're giving it a little too much credit?

Link is a cool guy, believe me. But the measure of a man is not determined by his game's graphics or if they have an intriguing story or if the game's long; It's determined by respect. Link has been getting A LOT of respect about a year after Zelda 64 came out. Maybe TOO Much.

Pokemon is serious business. The Link schedule has been cut down, but the Mario schedule is hardly as good. It's because of the Pokemon invasion. Again, I say:

Don't you think you're giving it a little too much credit?

Pokemon is growing too fast for it's own good. In the universal law of Demon, if something grows too fast, it's liable to destroy itself, and right now, you have to be a little worried about Pokemon. after all the killings and lawsuits, you SHOULD be at least a BIT worried. Pokemon looks like it's headed for the death lane soon.

But hey, Pokemon DID get a little too much credit.
