The life of a true gamer

    Hi, my name is Cole. I guess you could classify me as a Nintendo addict. I remember I was 3 years old when I got my first Nintendo. I loved it. Still to this day my favorite game is Zelda. The original. Since that day I have gotten many video game systems including: NES, SNES, gameboy, virtualboy, N64, Sega, Playstation, and Dreamcast. Of all I like my Nintendo products the best. I anxiously wait for a new Zelda game. I remember when I first played the original Zelda. I know this sounds weird, but I knew I would never be the same again. I now own all the Zelda games. I guess the reason I love RPG's so much is it gives me a chance to live a different life for a while. Like an escape from reality. I love the music to Zelda thats what gets me. Especially the Zelda 64 game. Songs like Epona's song, the song of time, and the bolero of fire. I have a feeling of emptiness if I start a game like Zelda and it takes me a while to beat it. During the time im not playing it I am always thinking about it. Wondering what will happen next, who will the character meet, and how will it end. Though I am very anxious to beat the game, I am always sad when it ends.
    I am now 14 years old. Sometimes I feel that I am wasting my time playing so many video games, but something has always seemed to reasure me. I know that one of my most favorite things to do is play video games. I have kept up with the battles of the system and regret that Nintendo isn't doing as well as they should, but I believe the next biggest hit will come out from Nintendo and will knock the opponents of the market. I just cant wait till that happens though.
    Well, this is my life. Whether anybody likes it or not. This is it. The life of a true gamer. I hope someone will read this and can relate to it. And to that person my hat goes off to you. Good gaming
