What's up with Pokemon?

The following does not mean to upset Pokemon fans. It is just that I dislike Pokemon.

I hear how Pokemon is the "greatest creation ever" or "Nintendo's big break". But you know what I what I think ? I am tired of it , sick of it. Pokemon is OLD and is getting way out of hand. It is just a stupid fad. What is the deal behind it ? What did Mario, Luigi , Link , Kirby, Zelda, and other Nintendo characters do to Nintendo for them to get mistreated and neglected so much ?
Money. That's it. Money. That is why I am losing respect for Nintendo. People are stupid enough to buy one pack of cards for $10. What a rip off! A box of 36 packs can cost from $200 to $2000! (for English Base 1st Edition, that is). Cards like "Ancient Mew" and "Birthday Pikachu" sell for $200+! If this is not one of Nintendo's biggest money sucking ideas

I don't like that Nintendo is being so greedy. I thought I could trust them but I guess I can't. What is so interesting about Pokemon anyway?

What would you rather play? Super Mario 64 or Pokemon Snap? What would you rather know? A cheat in SMB3 or how many HP a Pikachu
has?

I certainly miss the old times. I like Mario and Link better then Pikachu. I like the Koopa Kids and Bowser better then Team Rocket and that weirdo Gary. I would rather see Luigi vs Roy Koopa then your usual , boring Pikachu vs Team Rocket fight.

Pokemon has caused problems to both Nintendo and the country.
