Summary

While in developement of coin-op arcade machines, Nintendo decided to go for a more home gaming market. They entered the home videogame market with the Color TV Game systems. Each Color TV Game consisted of a standalone unit with a number of games preloaded onto each one. The Color TV Game series was very successful in Japan, which lead Nintendo to develope the Famicom a few years later.
