NintendoLand Deathmatch summary
Bowser VS. Smithy

The spectators wait in a mist of expectations of what to come. Slumbering they sit with their popcorn bags in their laps and the Bowser Cola cans in their hands, waiting for the excitement to start. The slow light rock their senses to rest...
It had been a long wait. They had sat there for almost 15 minutes since the lights were tuned on, but soon two voices would once again make them rejoice and the pulse to rise in their veins.
  
Up in the booth, two capped men turned on their microphones, polished their white teeth (with 'Bowser's Teeth Cleaning Paste - Guaranteed to make your fangs glow in the dark') and oiled in their mustaches...
  
"Good Morning Vietnam!" the voice echoed out across the dome, "sorry, I just wanted to say that, just once..."
  
"Now that Mario has got your attention... Welcome back to yet another episode of the NintendoLand Deathmatches!"
  
"Yes, ain't it just great!"
  
"Some people have been expressing their opinion that the deathmatches needs some new ideas . that it is repetitive and predictable - "
  
"However we don't! We think that it's a splendid way to spend your Friday night, and wouldn't want to do anything else than sitting here commenting this complete slugfest!"
  
"But..."
  
"Not now, Luigi..."
  
"But we said..."
  
"Not now, we must suck up to Mattias or else he might fire us... Smile Luigi, Smile...."
  
They both force a smile...
  
"Eh... Ok, let's welcome our first fighter, the big 'B'... The Big, Bullying Buffoon : Bowser!"
  
The Super Mario 64 boss music is heard.
  
"Hey, who said I was a buffoon?! I'm big and I'm a Bully, but not a Buffoon. I'm fearsome you hear me..."
  
Small pause.
  
" Dang, you ruined my into Luigi! Turn the music off and we'll do it all over again..."
  
Bowser claps his hands and the music starts all over again
  
"I'm lightning in a bottle! I'm an earthquake in a can! I'll knock my opponent down in no time!... I'm Bowser!"
  
"And in the other ring side - he promised he wouldn't invade our world again if we let him win - Smithy!"
  
Smithy appear in a cloud of smoke. Waving his gigantic sledge in the air.
  
"Let the battle commence!"
  
"You don't have your friends to help you out this time, Bowser!" Smithy laughed.
  
"Ha! I don't need them. I can beat you on my own. You're nothing more than a looser. The fact that you've only starred in ONE Mario game says it all. Luigi is a neglected character and he's been in more... Even Lemmy's been in more games, and he's a real looser..."
  
Smithy, obviously offended, slams his sledge at Bowser who dodges the steel hammer and kicks Smithy. The big smith falls to the ground but raises laughing, "I'm way to strong for you Bowser... Can't you hit any harder?"
  
"I can try!"
  
Smithy dodges Bowser's fist and swings his sledge. It hits Bowser over his back, and he's thrown to the ground.
  
"Whoa! What a bang, it almost hurt as much as it did when Mario plunged me into my bottomless dungeon in end of SMB3..."
  
Bowser inhales and sends a big wall of flames at Smithy. The flames engulf him and his big beard and hair are set on fire. Smithy suddenly transforms. His body becomes a solid block of steel and his head a big green tank.
  
"Come and get me now, freako!"
  
"Hey nobody calls me a freako. I might be, but nobody and I mean NOBODY calls me a freako!"
  
As Bowser prepares for another attack, he is surprise by a swarm of bullet bills being shot from the tank head. One Bullet Bill hits Bowser in the head and falls to the ground. Bowser, puzzled, picks up the Bullet Bill, "Hey, isn't you a part of my army?"
  
"No, we jumped ship when we saw how much Smithy is paying us... Two Koopa dollars for each day of active duty AND we get extra hazard payment for extra dangerous missions..."
  
"Get out of my sight or I'll give you a reason to get more extra hazard payment than I make in a year", he turns to Smithy, "So you've been stealing my troops... Nobody does that! Except for maybe Wario... But we're close friends..."
  
Bowser throws himself right at Smithy with the spikes on his back facing towards his enemy. Smithy has very hard to move in his new larger form and can't escape Bowser's attack. However Bowser's weigh is not enough to do any major damage on his enemy.
  
Smithy utilizes his magical abilities and the ring is filled with brightly colored falling daggers. Bowser hides behind his big shell.
  
"So you wanna do some magic. I've got some myself actually... Bowser Crusher Attack!"
  
An enormous Mecha Koopa is dropped on top of Smithy, but his steel body is not effected in any greater extent.
  
"Terrorise attack"
  
A Big Boo materializes but fails in it's attempts to scare Smithy.
  
"Haha! You can't scare me, Bowser... Unless you show me a photo of your mother maybe..."
  
"You.... you..." his head turns into the same color as his red eyebrows, "you... leave my mother out of this!"
  
Bowser pulls out a Chain Chomper from under his shell and swings it around and around in the air. Remember her? She helped me greatly in Super Mario RPG and now she's going to help me kick your sorry butt!"
  
Smithy shoots a rapid series of bullets from his right had but they're reflected off Bowser's back. Bowser approaches with his Chain Chomper swinging in large circles in the air.
  
"Prepare to die!"
  
The Chain Chomper is hurled with the combined force of Bowser's great strength and all of the laws of Physics concerning things that travel in circular paths. The deep sound of metal meeting metal in 60 km/hour is heard and a huge dent is created in Smithy's head. Bowser continues to swing his Chain Chomp like a mad man and hurls it, again and again, into the steel body of Smithy... When Bowser finally stops and falls to the ground exhausted, crying, "he offended my mother... he offended her...", not much remained of Smithy. And what did would probably not give you more than 0.5$ / kg at your local junkyard....
