Charizard
This almost too meter high fire-type Pokémon weights over 90 kg and can breath hot fire on it's oponent. His abilties toi fly could give him an advantage as well. Another thing that speaks for Charizard is that since he is a fire-type Pokémon, Bowser's fire breath will have minimum effect on him..

  

King Bowser Koopa
The King of Koopas. His strength and endurance always comes in hand in a fight. Unlike Charizard Bowser doesn't seem to be that well protected against fire, but even so he's got his big shell to hide behind... Charizard can fly but his body is not as well built as Bowser and this could prove vital in a battle between the two.

NintendoLand Deathmatch summary
Charizard VS. Bowser

Nintendo Land Death Match!
 
The Crowd Roars for action as two figures enter the announcing booth.
 
Mario: It's a me MARIO!
 
Luigi: And a me LUIGI!
 
Mario: are you guys ready to see a fight!?!?!?
 
Luigi: GAME START!
 
Crowd: YEAHHHHHH!
 
Mario: Introducing first the fire-breathing flyer Charizard!
 
Luigi: And introducing next the Big Spiked Lizard BOWSER!
 
Bowser and Charizard enter the arena and circle each other.
 
Bowser: Your going down junior.
 
Charizard: RAGGHHH!
 
Mario: Charizard flies towards Bowser to catch a tail in the chest sending him across the arena into the wall.
 
Luigi: Bowser runs towards Charizard his claws raised.
 
Mario: Charizard Fire spins at Bowser, Bowser get hit in the gut with the fire spin and flies backwards landing on the ground.
 
Mario: Charizard flies into the air roaring he flies down towards bowser.
 
Mario: Hah! Looks like Bowser is gonna be destroyed by Charizard!
 
Luigi: I think you might be right, folks this one is over, the fire-breathing Monster mascot has been decided.
 
Charizard comes inches towards Bowser opening his mouth ready to emit fire.
 
Bowser's hand reaches up and grabs charizard by the throat.
 
Mario: WAIT IT'S NOT OVER YET!
 
Luigi: Bowser is making a comeback!
 
Bowser swings charizard around and around by the neck.
 
Mario: Hey he stole my move!
 
Luigi: Bowser is winding up, there's the pitch!

Bowser throws Charizard at the wall, Charizard slams into the wall fainting into a pile on the floor.
Luigi: Bowser won it!
 
Mario: Bowser is the Fire-Breathing monster mascot Bowser has won yet again!
 
Luigi: Bowser won with a surprise victory!
 
Mario: He used my move to win!
 
Luigi: See you death match fans next week when we bring you Mew Two v.s. Ness. Merry Christmas Happy Kwanza and most importantly Shazbot NanuNanu good night!
