Lakitu VS. Hammer Brother

-We open the scene over the Deathmatch arena. It is the middle of the day, and it is very cloudy. The roof is partially there, and where it isn't, clouds are seeping in. Some Koopa Troopas are sitting on the clouds with bags of popcorn.
 
The crowds, on the seats and on the clouds, all cheer as the Super Mario Bros. enter the Commentators booth. They sit down and pull their michrophones to them.-
 
Mario: Welcome, one and all, to the DeathMatch event of the week!
 
Luigi: We are your hosts, the Super Mario Brothers! Mario, the short one that can really jump--
 
-The crowds cheer-
 
Luigi: --And me, Luigi, the tall one who can leap!
 
-The crowds cheer again.-
 
Mario: This week, our deathmatch is between the terror of the skies, and the horror of the ground. Lakitu and a Hammer Brother!
 
Luigi: Boy, the guys must really be running out of ideas.
 
Mario: Ssh! Luigi, these guys are paying us to sit here!
 
Luigi: Ooops!
 
Mario: And now, on the open side of the arena, the spiny-throwing hard-to-hit Judgem flier, Lakitu!
 
-Lakitu flies into the arena on his cloud. The Koopas on the clouds cheer as he goes in and start a Mexican Wave. Some other Lakitus are sat on the clouds, chucking Spiny eggs into the air (much to the annoyance of the audience below) and waving around their other numerous items. Lakitu's cloud hovers at a foot from the ground for a few minutes, giving Lakitu the chance to wave at the crowds, before disappearing. Lakitu lands safely on the ground, and appears unarmed.-
 
Luigi: And in the complete part of the arena--
 
Mario: You've got such a big mouth...
 
Luigi: -- That Koopa whose family comes in all shapes and sizes, the hard-to-get-near Hammer Brother!
 
-From an opening in the wall, the original Hammer Brother jumps out. On his side of the audience is a range of Hammer Brothers, from the originals to the most recent, the "Amazing Flyin' Hammer Brothers" (Correct me if I'm wrong). They cheer for their brave volunteer. The Hammer Brother walks out into the center of the arena, wielding a hammer, and waving to his fans with his free hand. akitu looks unimpressed. They stand parallel.
 
Mario and Luigi both look at each other.-
 
Mario: I never noticed before, but those two koopas are the same size.
 
Luigi: Yeah. Odd, huh.
 
-Mario glares at Luigi.-
 
Mario: *ahem* Yes. Okay, let's get it on!!
 
-A gong is sounded, indicating the start of the match.
 
Hammer Brother instantly jumps into action, leaping at Lakitu, hammer at hand. The sky Koopa jumps quickly out of the Hammer Brother's path. The Hammer Brother's hammer slams into the ground, cracking it, and Lakitu lands safely behind him.-
 
Lakitu: That's your first mistake. Patience is the key.
 
Hammer Bro: I don't need to take tips from you, coward!
 
-Hammer Bro spins and attacks again, but Lakitu jumps once more. This time he doesn't come down again afterwards. Hammer Bro looks up, and Lakitu is hovering above him in a cloud. Hammer Bro throws his hammer upward to try and hit him, but Lakitu is out of his reach. He catches the hammer again and crunches the handle in frustration.-
 
Hammer Bro: That's not fair! That's cheating, you insolent cretin!
 
Lakitu: You have an unlimited supply of hammers, do you not?
 
Hammer Bro: That's beside the point!
 
-One of each Hammer Brother jumps out of the audience and stands in front of the stands.-
 
Lakitu: A family matter? Okay, if you want a full-out battle, then let's get moving.
 
-A row of Lakitus fly from the clouds and float on the opposite side to the the Hammer Brother Family.-
 
Mario: Hold it, you lot!
 
Lakitu: Huh?
 
Hammer Bro: What's this?
 
Luigi: This is a one-on-one fight to the bitter end. Not a full-out war!
 
-Lakitu and Hammer Brother think this over. Lakitus cloud floats down to a more grounded level. Finally, Hammer Bro and Lakitu look up and nod at each other.-
 
Hammer Bro: Okay, they can't join in, but how about if they help us?
 
-Mario and Luigi think about this. Mario puls out a rule book and begins flipping through it. Finally he looks up at Luigi and shrugs.-
 
Mario: There's no rule against it. All right, you've got aid from the sidelines. No biological projectiles.
 
Luigi: Right. Looks like we've got a change here, folks! Our contenders are twisting things slightly! Let's just hope there are no other unexpected changes of plan!
 
-Hammer Brother throws his hammer at Lakitu again. It hits his cloud, which disippates. Lakitu falls hard to the floor.-
 
LakituPal#1: Hey, Lakitu! Jump!
 
-Hammer Brother pulls out another hammer and throws it, but Lakitu takes heed his friend's call and leaps into the air. He finds himself on another cloud, which he notices the other Lakitu had discarded. He gives his friend a thumbs up before LakituPal#1 jumps behind the stands, where it is safe.-
 
Lakitu: Well, that was sure nice. And now....
 
-Lakitu suddenly charges with his new cloud at Hammer Bro. In shock, the Koopa spins on his heels and trips. Lakitu swoops down low, then pulls the cloud up high, waiting for his opponent. Hammer Bro gets up and prepares two more hammers. Lakitu dives again, and Hammer Brother tries to hit him, but Lakitu dodges. Having averted the attack, Lakitu grabs Hammer Brother by the shell with his hand, and begins to fly higher and higher, until he has reached the roof of the arena. Then he lets go of Hammer Brother's shell, and swipes a hammer. Hammer Brother falls, but his fall is brought to a sudden stop. He looks down, and a platform with wings is underneath him. He looks at the grounded Flyin' Hammer Brother, who grins.-
 
AFHBro: Win, kid.
 
-The Hammer Brother jumps behind the stands, watching the fight. Hammer Bro grins and looks up at Lakitu, who is suddenly realising the match is a little more challenging than he expected. Hammer Bro pulls out two hammers and begins to fly up to Lakitu's level. When he reaches it, the two stare at each other intently for a few moments.-
 
Mario: We've got a heated battle, now! It's time someone decided who the master of the skies was!
 
Hammer Bro: Let's finish this while I'm still young!
 
-Hammer Brother swoops toward Lakitu, but the cloud is more evasive, and dodges easily. Lakitu throws the hammer at Hammer Bro, and it hits the platform. Much to Hammer Bro's shock, the tremor knocks him off the platform. He hits the ground with a winded grunt. Lakitu flies down level with the other Lakitus. Hammer Brother slowly gets to his feet. Fire Brother calls him from behind.-
 
Fire Bro: Hey, shell swap, buddy!
 
-Fire Bro takes off his shell and throws it to Hammer Brother, who in turn removes his own shell and throws it back at Fire Bro. They each put on their new shells. Fire Bro gets behind the stands.-
 
Hammer Bro: Hah! The tables have turned! Eat heat, Judgem!
 
-Hammer Bro throws a fireball at the cloud. It doesnt even hit, but the heat is enough to make the cloud disappear. Lakitu falls to the ground again, and Hammer Brother immediately gives chase. Lakitu jumps the fireballs as he tries to keep his distance from Hammer Bro. LakituPal#2 jumps from his cloud and kicks it Lakitu's way.-
 
LakituPal#2: Yo! Lakitu, quick!
 
-LakituPal#2 jumps behind the stands and watches with the first pal. Lakitu quickly jumps into the cloud and takes it right up into the air. Hammer Brother tries to throw a fireball up his way, but fails.-
 
Hammer Bro: Blast it!!
 
Lakitu: Hey, there's a fishing rod in here!
 
-Lakitu grins and swerves back down. He quickly uses the fishing rod to grab Hammer Bro's shell. It slides over his head, leaving him defenceless again. Lakitu throws the shell over to the clouds above. A koopa grabs it and cheers.
 
Hamer Brother growls and looks at who's left. A Boomerang Brother and a Sledge Brother are left. The Boomerang Brother slips off his shell and throws it Hammer Bro's way. Gratefully slipping on the shell, he gives a thumbs up to the Boomerang Bro. The Boomerang Bro jumps behind the stands.-
 
Luigi: Things are getting mightily interesting, wouldn't you agree, Mario?
 
Mario: Yes, I would. It seems that Hammer Brother and Lakitu are more determined than they look-- And would you look at that!! Two of the Lakitus on the sidelines have attacked the Sledge Brother! Hammer Brother should be heavily dependant on his shell right now! It seems Lakitu may soon--
 
Luigi: Oh, but look! Sledge Brother is giving chase! Looks like they're out of the action! Oh, and that's a mighty wallop!
 
Mario: Oh, no! Sledge Brother has broken his own shell! This is a tragedy for the Hammer Brothers! But what a show, as Sledge Hammer pounds those two Lakitus out of their skulls!
 
Luigi: Not a pretty sight, as the audience closest will tell you.
 
-screams of disgust are rising from the audience nearest to the Sledge Hammer scene, as they are pelted unintentionally with bits of shell and various other things.-
 
Mario: As I hear. But look! Lakitu still has one friend left! Lakitu's fifth pal better have something useful for him!
 
LakituPal#5: That I do!
 
Lakitu: Uh, oh!
 
-Lakitu plummets to the ground again. He holds up his fishing rod, but it is cut in half by Hammer Brother's Boomerang, as it makes it's return. Hammer Brother grins, seeing Lakitu defenceless again.-
 
Lakitu: This is getting repetitive.
 
-He looks round at his friend, who throws his shell Lakitu's way. Lakitu grabs it, removing his shell and handing that over. The Lakitu flies behind the stands and smiles.-
 
Lakitu: No cloud? That must mean...
 
Hammer Bro: Nothing can help you now! Hah!
 
-Hammer Brother throws another boomerang at Lakitu, who jumps again. He sifts a hand through his shell until he comes across a little emerald green orb. He throws it at the ground and dives down.
 
The moment the orb hits the ground, a pipe forms. Lakitu lands in it, and the boomerang hits it, falling to the ground. Hammer Brother growls.-
 
Lakitu: The match is mine.
 
Mario: The final shell! Lakitu is hard to get in the air, but when on the ground, in a pipe, it doesn't mean he's any less tricky! One spiny egg could finish that Hammer Brother no sweat!
 
Luigi: Aren't you forgetting something? Lakitu's not allowed the throw anything that forms another enemy.
 
Mario: That hasn't stopped him in the past.
 
-Lakitu stays hidden in the pipe. Hammer Brother waits patiently. Lakitu peeks his head out, and hammer Brother throws his boomerang. Lakitu ducks, and stays down until the boomerang crosses again, and he jumps up, throwing a green Spiny egg at Hammer Bro. The unexpecting Koopa grabs his boomerang, and gets hit with the Spiny Egg. The shell cracks and falls off.-
 
Hammer Bro: Noo! Not my shell!
 
-Lakitu looks out again and grins. He ducks back, then throws another green spiny egg, hitting the defenceless Hammer Brother again. A cheer rises from the crowds as Hammer Brother collapses, having been defeated.-
 
Luigi: And what a match! After countless swaps and changes, Lakitu has emerged victorious! What a champ!
 
Mario: Well done, Lakitu!
 
-Another cloud comes and collects Lakitu, taking him back up to the skies, as he waves at the audience. As he leaves, so do the clouds.-
