Magus VS. Frog (Glenn)

There is a low roar as all the fans eagerly wait for the Deathmatch to start. In the reserved row sits Crono and his friends from all over time. All of a sudden Mario and Luigi walk into the commentators booth from their respective doors. The crowd goes wild.
 
Mario & Luigi:It's a us, the Super Mario Brothers! And have we got a match for you tonight!
 
Mario:This match required the use of a time machine, so Crono decided to donate the Epoch to us for absolutely free!
 
Luigi: Well, not exactly free. You see, he made us give him season tickets to the Deathmatches for it.
 
Mario:A pretty good deal in his favor, since he got it for free, anyway.
 
Luigi: Yes, now first, let's shed a little background on the fight! This is a rivalry that goes back 1400 years to the middle ages, when Frog was turned into a frog by Magus, and Cyrus was killed. Frog has vowed to destroy Magus for that, and tonight, he gets the chance!
Now, on with the match! Player 1 comes from the land of Zeal, circa 10,000 B.C. but lived most of his life raised by monsters in the middle ages. He lives for the day when he can take on Lavos, a powerful entity who destroyed his sister and turned his mother into a power-crazed maniac. Mario:Uh, Luigi, don't forget that both fighters said they'd rather be called by their new names.
 
Luigi: Oh, right. well, Magus!
 
Magus' theme starts playing as Magus quickly teleports into the ring.
 
Magus:Let's get on with it!
 
Mario:And player 2, From unknown wherabouts in the year 600, A.D. This person also had someone close to him to die. His close friend, and Knight Captain, Sir Cyrus, who, coincidentally was killed by Magus. The frog without a princess, the best sword handler since Link, Frog!
 
Frog's theme plays as he leaps down from the rafters, Masamune in hand.
 
Frog:Cyrus! This shall be my finest hour!
 
A small Shyguy wearing a black and white shirt walks between them
 
Shyguy:I know it's pointless to ask for a clean fight, so just go at it.
 
Magus:When I get through with you, you'll wish I killed you a long time ago!
 
Frog:Strong words, but canst thou back them up!
 
Magus:I don't know, why don't you ask your friend Cyrus? Oh, yeah, I forgot. I killed him!
 
Frog:M-M-Monster!
 
Mario:Frog leaps at Magus, swinging the Masamune!
 
Luigi:But Magus easily dodges it and kicks Frog in the back as he goes by.
 
Magus:Hah! This is going to be easier than I thought!
 
Mario:If Frog can't get rid of that rage, he's going to lose!
 
Luigi: Magus is taking the offensive this time, bringing out the Doom Sickle!
 
Magus: this has served me well in many a fight, and now it will taste your blood!
 
Frog:Magus swings the Doom Sickle at Frog, who deflects it with the Masamune.
 
Frog:Such a cheap shot will be of no avail to thee, Dark Wizard!
 
Mario:Frog swings at Magus again, this time inflicting a deep cut on Magus' leg.
 
Magus:Aahh! I've got to do something about that!
 
Luigi:Magus Says a small chant to create a fireball in his hand, then sticks it to the wound, instantly cauterizing it.
 
Magus:You're better than I thought! Fine! time to bring out the heavy artillery!
 
Mario:It appears Magus is going to use one of his devastating spells!
 
Magus:Fire 2!
 
Luigi:A huge blast of fire hits Frog, damaging him badly
 
Frog:Cure 2!
 
Mario:And Frog is fully healed! It looks like this fight could drag on for a while!
 
Luigi:Maybe not. Magus doesen't have any healing Magic.
 
Magus: I won't Need it after this spell! Black Hole!
 
Mario: A huge black hole opens up in the middle out the ring!
 
Frog:I shan't be defeated! I must avenge Cyrus!
 
Luigi:And it appears the Black Hole has no effect on Frog!
 
Magus:Damn! I forgot the Black Hole only works on weak enemys!
 
Mario:Magus is bewildered by this turn of events, but Frog is not gonna let this chance go!
 
Frog:Taste cold stee-- Er, Dreamstone, vile fiend!
 
Luigi:Frog; delivers a near-fatal cut to Magus' neck. Magus collapses.
 
Magus:One......last......chance.....
 
Frog:Now for the Coup de Grace! Water 2!
 
Magus:Yes......
 
Mario:A huge wave of water rushes in, drowning and pulverizing Magus!
 
Luigi:And Magus has to be dead!
 
Mario:Wait a sec! Magus is getting up! How in the he--
 
Frog:How be this!?
 
Magus:It seems you forgot about my Magic Barrier! When I used Fire 2, It made me impervious to any magic except Fire! Even Greater, That so-called "Coup de Grace" completely restored my lifeforce!
 
Frog:No!
 
Magus:Lightning 2!
 
Luigi:Magus leaps into the center of the ring, and lightning radiates in all directions. Frog sticks up the Masamune.
 
Frog:This be considerable pain, but I doth not endure it alone!
 
Mario:After the Lightning subsides, Frog points the Masamune at Magus.
 
Frog:Now thou shall feel the pain of thine own black magic!
 
Luigi:The lightning Frog stored up in the Masamune lashes out at Magus. And since he's currently impervious to everything exept Lightning, the attack hits home!
 
Mario:So Frog got hit, but every ounce of pain he recieved, he shared with Magus!
 
Frog:Cure 2!
 
Luigi:Frog heals himself, and gets up.
 
Magus:If I survive this fight, I'm going to have to learn some healing spells!
 
Mario:It appears Magus Is a bit weathered.
 
Magus:I didn't want to use this, But you leave me no choice!
 
???:Glenn?
 
Frog turns around to see none other than Cyrus!
 
Luigi:Magus is taking this oppurtunity to power up something big.
 
Frog:C-Cyrus?
 
Cyrus:Yes, Glenn, It's me, Cyrus!
 
Frog:But It can't be! I saw Magus destroy you!
 
Cyrus:Don't always believe what you see! I'm as alive as you are. Now Let's forget about everything that happened that day and give me the Masamune.
 
Frog:Huh?
 
Cyrus:(Sigh) Glenn, you know you're not The Hero, and you'll never be able to defeat Magus, so Give me the sword so I can finish off Magus!
 
Frog:No. Cyrus always new that I would grow up to be special, and He trusted Me with taking care of Queen Leene! You're not Cyrus!
 
Mario:Frog stabs Cyrus, and a Gnasher falls to the floor.
 
Magus:He wasn't Cyrus! but he was the perfect distraction! Dark Matter attack!
 
Luigi:A huge black triangle fils up the arena, all but killing Frog.Magus Raises his Doom Sickle
over Frog.
 
Magus:Now you die!
 
Frog:N-Not Quite. Frog Squash!
 
Mario:Magus looks up to see a giant frog falling from the sky. It is a direct hit, knocking Magus down. Frog now has the upper hand. He raises the Masamune.
 
Magus:Go ahead. Kill me. With my mother and sister gone I don't care anymore.
 
Luigi:Wait! Frog has stopped!
 
Frog:Destroying thee will not bring back Cyrus. I have a better idea.
 
Mario:Frog puts away the Masamune and pulls out... Lucca's Gate Key!
 
Frog:Be gone, Wizard! And never bother a soul again!
 
Luigi:Frog has opened a gate! But where to?
 
Magus:I'll get you for this you slimy bastard!
 
Mario:And Magus is gone! Frog is the winner! We now go to Toad who is with our winner.
 
Toad:Well it's good to see an old rivalry come to an end! Tell me Frog, Magus appeared to have the upper hand on you several times. How did you keep coming back?
 
Frog:I owed it all to pure determination!
 
Toad:Really? I thought it was those healing spells you used.
 
Frog:Heh heh... well, that too.
 
Toad:And where did you send Magus?
 
Frog:...Home. I sent him home. Now it is time for me to go. The Queen needs me.
 
Frog jumps into the Epoch.
 
Frog:High Ho Epoch!
 
The Epoch blasts off with blinding speed.
 
Mario:Hey! Get back here with our time machine!
 
Luigi:Well, there goes another invention down the drain! Good night everyone!
 
'Meanwhile in 10,000 B.C.'
 
Magus:Of all places to send me... he did this on purpose! He knew this place would drive me crazy! Frog! The next time we meet, you will--
 
???:Janus?
 
Magus turns around.
 
Magus:Schala?
 
Magus and Schala embrace each other.
 
Magus:but I thought Lavos killed you!
 
Schala:After I teleported you 3 away, I passed out, and I'm not sure what happened. But a frog with a sword found me washed up on the shore of the Last Village.
 
Magus:(silently)Thank you Frog. Thank you.
 
Schala:Now let's build this planet up to its future glory, together.
 
They both turn to watch the sunrise.
