NintendoLand Deathmatch summary
Oni Link VS. Metal Mario

The deathmatch stadium lights up. Luigi walks up to his seat. The crowd cheers as The spotlight points to the mustachioed hero.
 
Luigi: Welcome everyone, to this-a weeks match! Because my brother shall be-a fighting, we will have a special guest as my assistant announcer. Now, put your hands together for the king of the jungle, that is Congo jungle, DONKEY KONG!
 
A large ape walks up to Luigi! He gives a few grunts and smiles.
 
Luigi: But, DK doesn’t know English, so we will have to have a translator. Everyone, please-a welcome Mallow, our translator.
 
A cloud dressed like a small boy runs up to DK and Luigi. He waves to the crowd and sits next to the simian.
 
DK: Grunt grunt grunt grunt!
 
Mallow: May the match begin!
 
The spotlight moves to the arena. A young boy walks in clad in green. Looks up to the crowd and takes out a mask. He slowly attaches it to his face, and screams in terror. A blinding flash appears and the young boy is replaced with a white warrior. The man swipes his sword and waves.
 
Luigi: At seven foot six, ONI LINK!
 
The crowd cheers as the lights dim. Then, a short plump man appears. He is immediately identified as Mario.
 
Mario: It’s a me, Mario! he says. Out of the rafters, a metal cap falls. Mario catches it in mid-air and puts it on. The blue overall hero suddenly becomes metal. He stomps the ground and the earth shakes.
 
Mario: Here we goooo!
 
DK: Grunt grunt grunt gruuuuuuuuunt!
 
Mallow: Weighing at over two hundred pounds, METAL MARIO!
 
Luigi: Let the battle begin!
 
Metal Mario begins stomping the ground. The arena shakes and shakes and Oni Link begins to lose his balance. The warrior soon falls to the ground, and Metal Mario runs up to him. He starts delivering punches, but Oni Link gets up quickly and runs off.
 
Luigi: Hmmm, Oni Link obviously has the advantage in agility. Mario’s weight makes him go as slow as a turtle.
 
DK:Grunt.
 
Mallow: I agree.
 
Oni Link now takes the defensive role and starts sending lasers at Metal Mario. The lasers hit him, but cause no effect.
 
Luigi: Electric does no effect to metal. Too bad for that attack.
 
After a barrage of lasers, Oni Link gives up, and goes up for close range attacks. Before he could even strike, Metal Mario punches his sword, which bends to a right angle. Oni Link looks in astoundment at his sword, which is now useless.
 
DK: Grunt grunt grunt grunt!
 
Mallow: Ha! Look at his sword! Its almost as useless as Diddy!
 
A short monkey in the crowd throws a red hat at DK. Meanwhile, Metal Mario sends more punches at Oni Link. The warrior avoids most of them, but does get hit a few times.
 
Luigi: Oy, those punches have quite power! Each blow knocked Oni Link a few feet back. Could Mario finally beat Link?
 
The battle get more and more intense as Oni Link tries to punch Mario back, but only hurts his knuckles even more. Finally, Metal Mario sends a mighty blow, which hits Oni Link so hard, he is thrown in the air, and then slams to the ground, knocked out.
 
DK: Grunt grunt grunt!
 
Mallow: Metal Mario wins!
 
Luigi: Ha ha! Mario has finally defeated Link! What a night!
 
Mario takes off his hat, and becomes normal again.
 
Sweat pours down his forehead as he waves to the crowd.
 
Luigi: Well, fought Mario!
 
DK: Grunt.
 
Mallow: Yes that truely was quite a game. Thanks for letting me be a guest here Luigi.
 
Luigi: Of course DK, of couse.
 
Mallow: No no no. I was referring to me.
 
Luigi: Huh? Then what did DK say?
 
Mallow: He said that Luigi is an awful announcer and that he should get the job.
 
DK smiles to himself as Luigi punches Mallow in the face.
 
DK: Grunt grunt grunt!!(translation: See you next time at the Nintendoland Deathmatch!))
