Chapter II: Off into the forest

Young Boshi was making his slow steady pace through the dark, damp, forest. He started hearing footsteps behind him after maybe five minutes.
He called, “Mario, Moshi, Koop, are you there?” He then thought he heard a noise from the low bush near by. He began to run but tripped. When he turned around to see what it was he discovered there was a little monkey yapping to himself. He felt relieved to know that it was not the escaped serial killer that was said to have run off into the forest. After that frightening moment, he started to pick-up the cute little monkey when all of a sudden he saw the huge, mad, mother of the little monkey. He ran as fast as he could through the underbrush but he could not escape the giant monkey. He studied monkeys in Miss. Appleberry’s class last year. He found out if anyone or anything that approached there young would therefore get the mother mad enough to chase and hurt the victim maybe even killing him. He kept running through the dark forest he did not won’t to look back but he suddenly jolted his head back to see the monkey catching up with the helpless, little twelve year old yoshi running out of breath. He looked back forward only long enough to see a tree that hit his fore head and knocking him out cold. Meanwhile deeper in the forest…
“I think we are lost” suggested Koop to his traveling mate named Moshi.
Moshi looked at the map in his trembling hands “none sense,” said Moshi, “If I am correct we are…” Moshi let his eyes travel along the map
“we are precisely in Koopa village,” said Moshi realizing the mistake he had made.
“ Oh…” said Moshi “ I had the map upside-down” after a minute Koop said, “ you don’t have your glasses on do you?” he asked Moshi. “I thought I looked stupid with them on so I left them at home,” said Moshi embarrassed at his mistake. “Well we’re lost now stupid!”
    Also Meanwhile way farther north…
“Oke-doky,” said Mario walking on to Toad Town which was the same distance as Boshi was from Toad Town, actually they where less then a mile apart because Mario started late because he was playing his Zelda video game. He was playing for about fifteen minutes till he lost his power at his house my some Monty moles chewing on the wires ZZZAAAAAPPPPPPP! Anyway he was just walking while singing a song
“ five Monty moles, four Koopas, Three Goombas, two piranha plants, and  Bowser up a rubber tree,” he sang louder and louder, chorus after chorus. until a coconut came down on his head by an angry monkey tired of his crazy song.
Mario awoke hanging upside-down by a vine on a tree. He looked to his left and saw Boshi unconsciously hanging with him over a big monkey with a club.
Mario yelled trying not to choke, “ Boshi wake-up!” like magic Boshi woke-up saying, “Got any aspirin? because my pack only has: a yo-yo, a lantern that spills, and… Hey! My invisible gun! Man it has nothing left in it.”
“How about something you can communicate with?” said Mario realizing the monkey had his hat.
“a empty flare gun and… Oh Ya my FCWTT,” he said. “What?” said Mario wondering what the world the thing was.
“It stands for Friend Communicator walky-talky Thing,” said Boshi.
“Use it!” barked Mario for the first time loosing his temper. “Okay!” yelled Boshi back even though they where only two feet away. Suddenly a beam of bright red light glared across the forest to Moshi’s FCWTT that Moshi was carrying around with the map. Moshi stopped arguing with Koop and looked at his FCWTT that was saying: Yo! Me and Mario are hanging in on a bad time. Can you come help? Over…
Moshi responded, “lead the way Boshi. Over… “The red light does remember? Over…” said Boshi about two or three miles away from them. “Okay I’ll be there in about two hours. Over…”
    About two hours later…
“I have visual contact with ya Boshi. Over…” said Boshi tired because it was
     about 1 a.m.
“Why can’t I speak into the walky-talky?” said Koop questioning
    Moshi about nonsense.
“Because your not adroit enough,” said Moshi smartly.
“What’s that mean?” said Koop tiresomely.
“That means you’re not smart enough,” said Moshi slapping his face.
“anyway I got a plan to get that monkey
I mean ape away from Mario and Boshi long enough to get them
down and run for it.” Moshi said pulling out a radio.
“No time for music,” said Koop. “We got to go help Boshi and Maryo,”
    continued Koop.
“One. That’s Mario not Maryo. Two… I’ll distract the ape by throwing the radio
while on, away from the tree. Thus, we can get are friends away from that monkey, I
     mean ape.”
“cool,” said Koop ripping the radio out of Moshi’s hands, turning
it on and throwing it away from the tree.
“Let’s go,” said Koop running up the tree and breaking the rope off for Mario
and Boshi in a blink of an eye and also catching them breaking the fall they would have.
“You’ll pretty quick,” said Moshi complimenting Koop for his speed.
“Thanks,” said Koop near everybody in the group. “I did train for the army
     you now,” Koop said laughing
    out of breath.
“Let’s get out of here,” said Mario. “What about your hat, Mario?”
    said Boshi.
“I have nine more like that in my back pack,” said Mario answering
Boshi’s hat question. Nothing much after that happened after that but the next
day they did finally get to Toad Town.
Note: The song Mario was singing goes Refrain: On the ___ day in the forest Kamek gave to me! melody of the 12 days of Christmas. 1. Bowser up a rubber tree  2. 2 piranha plants 3. 3 Goombas 4. 4 Koopas 5. 5 Monty moles 6. 6 Shy guys 7. 7 ravens 8. 8 spinys 9. 9 Buzy beetles 10. 10 Paragoombas
