Chapter 2

The trip down the staircases didn't seem as hard as when he went up it. Before he knew it he was already at the big red door. He again repeated the magical spell, and the door was raised, and as soon as he was out, the door slammed behind him. He took a look at his watch.
"12:45!" He exclaimed. He rushed to the kitchen. He grabbed a sub sandwich, glass of chocolate milk, a box of crackers, and a fried fish. After Kamek got his lunch, he rushed up to his room, sat the plate down, and shut the door. He lifted up his sub, and was just about to bite into it when he heard a knock at the door. He swung it open, and he saw something most terrifying. The Koopa kids!
"Kamek, do you have any extra wands?" They kindly asked. Kamek must've been feeling really bad, cause he gave each of them one. Normally, Kamek would've never done this. The Koopa kids scurried off to play with the wands. Kamek shut the door, and went back to his table to eat, for he hadn't even had breakfast. Again, he was just about ready to bite into his sub when he heard a knock at the door.
"I already gave you wands!" Kamek yelled, thinking it was the Koopa kids again. He sighed and got up, and walked to the door and opened it. It was a Koopa, but it wasn't a Koopa kid. It was Bowser, King of the Koopas. "Yes, Bowser?" He asked in a scared voice. Kamek for a moment thought he was in trouble. But he realized he wasn't when the look on Bowser's face looked happier. When I say happier, I don't mean he was smiling, he just wasn't in the mood he is usually in. He handed him a bag, which had Kamek's paycheck of Koopa coins, and was just about to shut the door when Kamek asked, "Bowser, do you remember my father?" Bowser turned to him and said, "Yes. He was a brave man to say he wouldn't work for my dad." At those words Kamek began to cry. For his father was brave, but he was a coward. Bowser didn't mention anything more, and he shut the door so Kamek could be alone. Kamek quickly wiped the tears from his eyes, and went back to his table to eat his sub. This time no one disturbed him. He got to finish the entire meal, and drank his chocolate milk. After that he left his room, and walked down the hallway to get to Bowser's throne room. Along the way, he saw huge beams of magic coming from the Koopa kids' skinny white wands.
"Stop it!" Kamek shouted. The Koopa kids stopped, and after Kamek got through, he kept on walking to the throne room. He found the massive golden doors. They had a picture of Bowser stamped into them too. It required a key. Kamek unlocked it, and slowly walked into the room. Bowser was sitting there on his golden throne with blue cushion. Kamek walked up, and stood at the side of the throne. Then the doors opened. Princess Peach, Mario, and Luigi were lead in by thirty blue-shelled Koopa Troopas.
"Ha, ha, ha!" Bowser chuckled. "Put them into a prison cell."
"Wouldn't it be better to just kill them right now?" Kamek suggested.
    "Why?" Bowser questioned.
"So there isn't any way they can escape," Kamek answered.
"Good point. Kill Peach and the Mario Brothers immediately," Bowser ordered. Peach, Mario, and Luigi were then led off to be killed. After a few minutes, Kamek left the throne room. He went to the MagiKoopa lounge, and talked with other MagiKoopas. Then Bowser came into the lounge. "Members of the MagiKoopa High Council, come and watch the death of the plumbers and the princess." So Bowser, Kamek, and the other MagiKoopas marched out of the castle, towards the volcano called Koopa. Bowser's kids were down in his courtyard. Bowser's courtyard was almost exactly like Peach's courtyard, the garden were you see some ghosts, in Super Mario 64. There are some differences though. First of all, it is about twelve times bigger than Peach's. Next, there is a golden throne, pretty much like Bowser's throne in his throne room, except this one had a red cushion instead of a blue one for Bowser to sit. They are putting silver thrones in there so the MagiKoopa High Council can meet there. Also, instead of a stone star in the middle of that pool in Peach's courtyard. There's a golden head of Bowser. Instead of stone walls and pillars, they are pure gold. There is also many plants and pools. Anyway, Mario, Luigi, and Peach were about to be pushed into the volcano. Then, the three started picking up rocks and throwing them. This was a big distraction to the guards and people, so Mario, Luigi, and Peach got away. Bowser angrily stormed down the volcano. Kamek looked at his watch and noticed it was 8:00PM!
"Man, time flies!" He exclaimed. He walked up to the High Council and said, "We have to have the meeting now!" So they ran down the mountain, dashed through the castle into the courtyard. Koopas had just finished putting the thrones in. They took there seats, and patiently waited for Bowser. Bowser stormed in and took his seats. "I would like to call this MagiKoopa High Council meeting to order," Kamek announced. "Now, we failed to kill Peach and the Mario Brothers. Is there any other suggestions of how to kill them?" They talked and talked. Until finally the meeting was adjourned. Everyone left except Bowser and Kamek. Bowser let out a loud yawn.
"See ya in the morning," Bowser told Kamek. Bowser left the courtyard. Kamek stood there all alone.
Then a voice said to him, "Don't worry, son. I'm not disappointed in you. Kamek jumped. He turned around and saw a ghost of a MagiKoopa. It was his father It smiled at him, then disappeared. Kamek felt a lot better. He went to the kitchen, had a couple of snacks and walked to his bedroom. He shut the door, flopped his shoes off, slipped his hat and robe off, put on some pajamas, and laid in his bed. Then he closed his eyes, and went to sleep.
