The neverending Street Fighter Story!

Does´nt the flow of Street Fighter 2 sequels never end?!

Capcom should be called the Masters of Sequels, just look at all the Street Fighter games they have done!19 if you count them all !

It all began with....

Street Fighter: Fighting Street that was a arcade beat em up released a loooong time ago (1987).

Then (Arcade) Street fighter 2010 came which wasn't to great (1990).

Then Capcoms biggest hit ever came:

1. (SNES/Arcade) Street Fighter 2 that became a real bestseller on the SNES and hugely populat at the arcades in -91! it was´nt long until Capcom released

2. (Arcade) Street Fighter 2 - Champions Edition that was a small uppgrade of Sf 2. Then came

3. (Arcade) Street Fighter 2 Turbo - Hyper Fightning another uppgrade. The next arcade version that was converted to the consoles was

4. (SNES/MEGADRIVE/Arcade) Super Street Fighter 2 - The New challengers where the graphics was fully redone and the new fighters Cammy, Fei Long, Hawk and Dee Jay was implanted. Their next release was a upgrade of S Sf2 - the new challengers whos name was no less than:

5. (SNES) Street Fighter 2 Turbo - Champions Edition and after that:

6. (Arcade) Turbo Street Fighter 2 - Championsedition Hyperfightning who later was converted to the SNES under the name

7. (SNES) Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo

(There are also some unofficial Hacked versions called: SF2 -Black Belt , SF2 -Hyper Champion and SF2 - Rainbow edition)

After that Capcom started making the Street Fighter Alpha games:

Street Fighter Alpha

Street Fighter Alpha 2

Street Fighter Alpha 2 Gold (only released in Japan) that are being released to SNES, Playstation and Saturn!

Street Fighter Alpha 3

Except from these games they have also done a bunch of other Street Fighter games:

They have also made a Street Fighter game based on the Street fighter Movie and it´s name is
Street Fighter the Movie and it has been produced for both SNES, Playstation and Saturn!

Street fighter 2 have also been released to the Game Boy!

Now at last, Capcom have done something new!! A Street Fighter game in 3d!!
Street Fighter EX Alpha Plus is the name of the game and it´s for Playstation! And that game has also a sequal (Not surprised?!!!) Street Fighter EX Alph Plus 2 also for Playstation.

Capcom has also released a Street Fighter Collection for the Playstation consisting of the arcade versions of: Super Street Fighter 2, Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo and Street Fighter Alpha 2 Gold!

At last a Street Figher 3 is on it´s way, and we can only hope that it not will have as many sequals as Street Fighter 2!
