Piranha plants

These plant monsters becomes more and more dangerous and intelligent for every new Mario game. They started out like stupid plants hiding in pipes waiting for a hero to put their teeth in. Now they can spit fire and some of them can even walk around in the free "juggling" with a big spikeball!

Piranha plant

The simplest of them all. They just hides in pipes to get a chance of biting Mario. If Mario is standing on top of the pipes that they´re living in they don´t come out.

Red Piranha plant SMB 2 Lost Lev

These Red ones lives only in SMB 2 Lost Levels and doesn´t care if Mario´s standing on the pipe, they come up and bite him anyway.

Giant Red Piranha plant

These Piranha plants are like everything else in the Giant Land of SMB 3 extremely big and like all the other Red Piranha plants they doesn´t care if Mario is standing on their pipes they come up anyway.

Fire-spitting Piranha plants

These have got the ability to spit fire at Mario but can only spit vertically.

Walking Ptooie

This piranha plant species walks around and blows a big spikeball up and down in the air.

Jumping Piranha plants

The only Piranha plants that exist in SMW. They jump up and down from their pipes not possessing any greater threat to Mario or Yoshi.

Nipper plants

These Small version of the normal Piranha plant are found on some Levels of Smb3. They jumps up and down on the spot trying to reach Mario.

Fire Spitting Nipper plants

These Mini Piranha plants has got the ability not only to walk around but also to spit fire after Mario. They are very rare and only exist on a single course in Smb3.

Munchers

Tiny black indestructible piranha plants. Very hungry!

Pokey

These cactuses are crawling around in the desert waiting for a little hero to puncture. Slow but lethal! However bring Yoshi and he can easily eat them with his long tongue from a distance!

Vulcano Lotus

These lethal plants "spits" deadly seeds after Mario. Yoshi can swallow them whole!

Lava lotus

A aquatic version of the Vulcano Lotus.
