Cheep Cheep

These fishes lives in the waters of both The Mushroom Kingdom and the Yoshi Island. They swims around freely in the oceans and on some course located above water, they jumps up from the surface of the water to try to get a bite of Mario´s butt!

Bubble Cheep Cheep

These Cheep Cheeps floats around inside bubbles but when they collide with an obstacle they fall out and starts to act like ordinary Cheep Cheeps. If they fall on the ground they will de totally defenceless and Mario can simply walk into them to kill them!

Spiky Cheep Cheep

These have got spikes.

Blurp

Rip-Van fish

all Rip Van fish wants to do is to sleep but if Mario wakes him up from his "beauty sleep" he immediately swims after him.

Blooper

White deadly squids that swims around trying to collide with Mario. Some bloopers have small baby bloopers in a tail after them that they send after Mario.

Baby Blooper (and mother)

Small Blooper kids that  are sent out by their Blooper mother to chase Mario.

Jelectro

These jellyfishes comes in big "shoals" drifting with the currents. They are indestructible and therefore it´s wise to just avoid them.

Porchu Puffer

These large spiky fat fishes usually swims near the surface of the water and tries to get Mario to accidentally jump on their spike-covered backs!

Urchin

A urchin that lives in the see.....

Boss Bass

This huge whale-like-fish is so big that he can swallow Mario whole! He jumps up from the water and tries to get a bite of Mario.

Big Bertha

Boss Bass´wife lives deep down in the sea where she breeds their little kid that she keeps in her mouth. Occasionally she spits out the little Baby Fish and after awhile it returns to his mother´s mouth.

Big Bertha´s Baby

The baby of Big Bertha. It swims out of it´s mothers mouth and attacks Mario.

Dolphins

These friendly fishes helps Mario on certain above water stages by letting Mario use them as platforms.

Lava lotus

These aquatic plants "spits" deadly seeds after Mario.

Torpedo Ted

Like their cousin Bullet Bill Torpedo Ted is shoot as a projectile from a kind of a cannon.

Uagi the Eel

This really really big eel lives in the old sunken ship in Jolly Roger Bay and comes out of his little nest once in awhile to take a swim in the water. This is when Mario can sneak into his nest and make the sunken ship rise to the surface once more. When Mario has accomplished this Uagi lives in a hole in the side of the underwater mountain near the spot were the sunken ship once was sunken. This times Uagi has got one of the Power Stars attached to his tail and Mario must make him come out and swim so that he can take the Power Star back.
