With Donkey Kong being such a megahit a sequel wasn't far away, and in 1982 Donkey Kong Junior was released. This time Mario is the bad guy and he has kidnapped Donkey Kong and you control Donkey Kong Jr. and must save his father from Mario that has trapped DK inside a way to small steelcage. Donkey Kong Jr. wasn't at all, an as big hit as Donkey Kong and is the only game were Mario is the bad guy! One funny fact is that the arcade game had a bug that allowed smart games to get infinite lives so that they could play all day if they wanted!   Screenshot from the Atari 2600 version.
