Quick facts:
Mario is back for more Kart action in the sequel to the original SNES racer.

The sequel to the best and most sold SNES game ever! Mario Kart 64 only nearly managed to live up to the extremely high hopes that we had on it, but it is fair to compare a game with the best racing game ever made? Mario Kart 64 is still nearly as superb as the greatest racing game ever, but it´s lacks a little bit in it´s one player mode but the Battlemode is if possible even better than in Super Mario Kart. The game is very much like the original excpet for that the courses aren't flat anymore and two characters have been replaced. Donkey Kong Jr. has been replaced
by his father Donkey Kong and The little Koopa Troopa from the SNES version has been replaced by Wario.
A funny fact is that while still under develpement the game was named Mario Kart R instead. Back then Wario wasn't't included in the game. Instead a MagiKoopa was driving around in the game.
