Quick facts:
Mario and friends appear in their first edutainment title.

The first in the row of Mario´s many edutainment titles with graphics from SMW. You can choose from playing both Mario, Luigi and Toadstool. The game consist of many sub games where you must write, at first just different letters as fast a possible but later on you have to write whole words and sentences.
One sub game involves your character being chased by Boss Bass from SMB3 and you´ll have to type faster and faster so that your character doesn´t get caught by Boss Bass.
One of the easier sub games involve Mario running and turtles (from Mario Bros?) and blocks appear. Each tutle or bloack has a letter written on them and you must press the right button to pass.
Mario´s rather pathetic voice in this game was made by a guy named Donald Reuben (not that i care!). In the beginning of the game you can e.g hear him say "Welcome to Mario Teaches typing!". Not at all as good as in Super Mario 64, but still something...

Be quick with your fingers
