Super Mario
Bros - Super Show
The first real "Mario show" began in USA on Monday September 4 1989 (shortly after SMB2 had been released). It was named The Super Mario show in USA and consisted of Mario-cartoons based on Super Mario Bros 2 (52 episodes) and sometimes even Zelda cartoons (13 episodes). The show also consisted of a studio part with Mario (played by: Lou Abano) and Luigi (played by: Danny Wells). The show became a big success and 52 programs were made!
