Captain N & The New Super Mario World
In 1983 CDS did the Saturday Super Arcade Show where Mario and DK presented new arcade games in USA!
The first real "Mario show" began in USA on Monday September 4 1989 (shortly after SMB2 had been released). It was named The Super Mario show in USA and consisted of Mario-cartoons based on SMB2 (52 episodes) and sometimes even Zelda cartoons (13 episodes). The show also consisted of a studio part with Mario (played by: Lou Abano) and Luigi (played by: Danny Wells). The show became a big success and 52 programs were made!

Captain N and The Adventures of Super Mario Bros 3
In 1990 NBC produces more Mario cartoons, this time from the newly released SMB3. This new show consisted of a 15 minutes Mario cartoon and a 15 minutes Captain N cartoon. The show started in September 1990 and ended the next year the same month. The 26 episodes produced could be viewed on Saturdays. In these cartoons Mario and Luigi and some times even Toad, Peach and Bowser used the new abilitys from SMB3 and the Koopa Kids were there to but for some reason their names were changed in the cartoons. Captain N & The New Super Mario World
During 1991 -92 NBC did another Mario-show, The Super Mario World Show with cartoons based on SMW 1. 13 episodes were produced which were run on Saturdays together with as many Captain N cartoons in 30 minute programmes. Later a video containing 5 cartoons (The Wheel Thing, Fire Sale, Send in the Clown, Ghosts 'R' Us and King Scoopa Koopa) were released

The Super Mario Allstars show was run on the Family Channel between 1994-96. Super Mario Allstars wasn´t a new series of cartoons it was just a couple of reruns of the "Super Mario Bros - Super Show "and the "The New Super Mario World" show.
