Koji Kondo
He is the man who has made all the great tunes for all the Zelda games (except for Zelda 2) and most of the Mario games (allmost all of them if you don´t count the Game Boy titles). He has also done the music for some other of Nintendos games to like Star Fox and Pilotwings. His influences include Latin music and Jazz and the composer of the Pink Panther theme (Henry Mancini) is his favourite artist. One of his greatest fans are Paul and Linda McCartney and when they finally got a chance of meeting Koji personally they greeted him by humming the Mario Bros Theme! Many of his creatings has been recorded on CD and released in Japan: Once an orchester in Tokyo performed a symphony made from Kondo's Mario music! The Jamaican reggae singer "Shinehead" used the classic Mario theme in one of his rap songs as a chorus...
