REVIEW: Bomber Man GB 1995 GB

Finally a Bomerman based on it's original! No more platform games like Bomerman Pocket or Bomerman Hero, and it finally has a battle mode!!

First I'll start of with the game, when you first start of you get to choose which path/difficulty. Mode A is what I call " normal difficulty " just you some bombs and some baddies and of course a time limit. Mode B is a little different however, your have to destroy the monsters in order. The first one you have to destroy is the one with the arrow rotating above it, and if you don't destroy them in the right order you die and have to start over again. This might sound pretty easy but with the short time limit it is a challenge. There are 8 worlds with 5 levels in each of them so that's 40 levels in total. So depending on how good your Bomerman skills are depends on how long the game will last. Though out the game you will be able to use different items like the whip which can be used to hit a bomb forward, dash enables you to knock a monster/player temporarily out of conscienseness, line bomb tap A twice the make a line of bombs, and my favorite is moto bomber, with this you can jump over destroyable blocks with you dirt bike, and there are many more things you can collect. The one thing I hate about this game is that in the original Bomermans when you die your reaper in the exact same place just how you left it, but NOOO in Bomerman GB when you die you gotta start all over again, all the monsters you destroyed are back and all the blocks you destroyed are back.

Now the battle mode. You can't play the battle mode if you don't have one cable link, and a friend that has the game. The game says 1-4 players but come one who really has a four player cable link or four cable links and four friends who have the exact same game. For all of you who have the game and are really mad that you can't play battle mode with three other computer players well you CAN!! At the password screen just type in 5656 and you of to kick some computer players A$$ in : ) Anyway while in battle mode you can choose up to 3 minutes or no time at all. You can also choose how many battles a player has to win to become champion (up to five). After that you have to pick one out of 6 battle arenas each of them have different items you can use within them. For example in area 3 you can use the whip on any of the bombs and dash on any of the players.
