NFL BLitz was a huge hit on the N64, but unfortuneately the gameboy version
did not live up to it's name. The graphics are OK, and could have easily been
better, and the gameplay is tedious. Offence is extremely easy, so you will
have no problem winning after a couple of tries, and defence is so boring you'll
wish there was an option to turn it off. All these things will make you want
to quit after about a week. The one good thing that the GB version has is real
teams and players. Still, all the players have the same ability and their are
no
substitutions.
One cool thing that definitely did not make up for anything else was little
video clips of players getting tackled and scoring (actual video, but Black
and White). Considering this was my first GB Color game that I played, I did
not have good expectation from the rest of them. However, based on reviews,
titles and screenshots it looks like there'll be some good GB Color games out
their afterall. - Peter "Potrod Kabong" Darling 59%
