This fourth Zelda-adventure takes place between Zelda 3 and Zelda 1. When link had defeated Ganon in Zelda 3 he became the hero of Hyrule but he was still young and inexperienced so he decides to cross the world seas to discover new worlds and gain experience. On one of his trips a rough tornado came and Links ship sank into the ocean. He was later found laying on a beach by a young girl named Marin. Link had came to a tropical island name Koholith. Marin told him that it was impossible for him to leave the island because they didn´t have any ships there at all.

When Link started to explore the island a little closer he met a wise owl that told him that this whole island and all its population only was a dream of the great windfish that laid inside and egg on the top of a the highest mountain of Korinth. The only problem was that the Windfish sleeped so deep so that the only thing that could wake him up was to play on eight magical instruments at the same time. But what will happen to the island and all the people who lives there if he wakes the Windfish up?!

Link begins to search for the eight instrument in his second best adventure after Zelda 3. One very interesting moment is when Link battle his own "nightmares" from previous adventures, like Agahnim, Moldworm and Ganon from Zelda 3. Zelda 4 is one of the best looking games on the GB even and the graphics is almost in the same as Zelda 3 for the SNES except for the colors! This Zelda game is also a bit more "unusual" and playful than the other Zelda games, with a great deal of humour in the dialogs and messages, for example: When you find the Magic Rod you get a message reading something like this: "You´ve got the Magic Rod which enables you to burn things, burn baby burn!".

One other thing that I don´t know if it´s good or bad is that much of the bosses, character and items has been borrowed from other Nintendo games. For example you can find: Goombas and Twomps (that comes from the Mario games), Kirby and even Wart hidden in a hole in the ground. The game that they have used the most characters, enemies and items from is Zelda 3. Fact is that this doesn´t make this game predictable in any way, no it´s fun to play Zelda 4 if you have already played Zelda 3 to remember things and get a little bit nostalgic.

Zelda 4 is also very big for being a GB game. Zelda 3 has of course better graphics than Zelda 4 but Zelda 4 is just as fun and addictive as Zelda 3! With it´s many dungeons, items and many people to visit Zelda 4 is really the greatest GB-game! You´ll be mad not to buy this game!! - Mattias Liedholm 97%
