By: Here is the name of the company that made the game.

Type: The type of game, e.g. Platform, Racing, Action, Shoot'em up...

Players: This tells you how many players can play the game at once. Note that if a you can play with more than one player in game but not at the same time (you just play every other life or something), we consider this a one player game.

Difficulty: This is how hard the game is, according to the reviewer(s).

Long Term Interest: This tells you how interesting the game is after an hour, a day and so on. If a games scores high here your interest in it will last a while. The maximum score is 5, minimum is 0.

NintendoLand's Score: We rate a game in four categories: Graphics, Sound, Playability and Lastability. The maximum is 100% in each category.

Graphics: This is a measurement of how the game looks.

Sound: Here we rate the quality of the sound in the game, both the music and the sound effects.

Playability: The playability is very important. A game can look awesome, but if the control is no good and you don't enjoy playing the game, the game is crap!

Lastability: A game that you finish in a few hours is not a game worth buying! Preferably, a game should last for several months if you play it almost every day. This category is quite similar to the Long Term Interest ratings.

OVERALL: This is, simply, how good we think the game is. The score is based upon the reviewer's score, it's not an average value of the four categories above.

Disclaimer: The points a NES game gets aren´t comparable with the points SNES game gets and so on. For example, a NES game that gets 90% isn't as good as a SNES game that gets 90%. We make higher demands on SNES games, especially when it comes to graphics.
