Nemo, probably a game never heard of.
But some people may remember the movie. I had rented this game once when I was
little, for some reason I loved the movie. Recently, I downloaded the ROM to
remember what it was like, and sure enough it is different!
The story is strange, a boy named Nemo is summoned
to the kingdom of SlumberLand. You are told that Princess Camille wants you
to play with her, but that's not the true story. The Prince of Nightmares has
kidnapped the King of Slumberland. And she wants you to save him.
In the game, you are armed with candy, yes, candy. You throw candy at enemies which stuns them. Some animals are nice though. All you do is feed them 3 candies and they become unconscience. When you touch them, you become them. Such animals are bees, apes, lizards, frogs, and many more. Each has there own ability, such as apes can climb walls and punch, and bees can fly for a short bit and shoot stingers.
The goal of each level is to collect the keys (Which are usually around 6 in
each level). At the end of a level, you will find a door with many locks behind
it. Each key unlocks a lock. Once all locks are unlocked, the level is over.
Once you find out the real reason you are there (Late
in the game), that of to rescue the king, you are given a wand. The wand can
be used to whack enemies, or to shoot orbs. So finally you can kill enemies
by yourself. But you will still have to get the animals' help by feeding them
candy.
The graphics are good for the NES. But the sound sometimes gets annoying.
If you are looking for a Platform game with a different style of gameplay, it's worth it to try Nemo. As if you are wanting to walk around in your house as of being 2 inches tall, or being in a oversized house of toys, this game is one of the most imagitive games out there - 80% Cyrus
