Graphics: The whole animation factor of the game is pretty well done for an NES game but what I thought made the graphics look good was the amazing design of each and every little detail in the rooms your men searched in. And if the rooms don't look cool enough, the interactivity with the stuff is whats really cool. Even things that didn't tie into the game such as the opening of a toilet seat, the grabbing of an unimportant bottle or even playing the piano were still delivered as a part of the game instead of just being there.

Sound: The different music that comes with each character is a nice option but every song in this game is squeaky and annoying so I suggest you turn the music off. As far as sounds it's obvious that certain sounds are re-used again and again for different parts of the game, nonetheless the sound is nothing more than " fitting" for a game like this.

Playability: If your interested in games like Shadowgate, Deja vu, Myst, Riven, or Clue you'll more than likely like this game. And if you don't like games like that theres still a chance that you might like this game. It doesn't have a revolutionary system to it or anything but it's really addictive and has a cool storyline.

Lastability: With my brother and I, this game lasted about two years simply because we just had to figure out what to do next but realistically I think the fun factor of this game might wear off after about a year or so for most people. And probably they'll only come back to play it some more, years later. Just so they can get that exciting feel of saving the day from tentacles again.

Overall: Well a good storyline, nice design, simple controls and challenging puzzles all add up to a clean. - Nicky Rumfield 80%
