Adventure of Link the Zelda game that could have been groundbreaking. This game could have been the best nes game ever.Instead this game qualifys under the rank "Good".Now this game would have probaly gotten a even lower score if I wasn't such a hardcore Zelda fan. This game veers away from the traditional overhead view that we have come to expect from our rpg's. Its a side scroller. Now this game has some problems that keep it from becoming a great game but some features are just plain cool!Like the Level gain feature this feature might have been unnessary but it truly shines it gives this game more depth than meets the eye.Enough with the good stuff lets get with the bad and average.Ok first off side scrollers and 3d games do NOT mix well its just plain silly having the fighting being 2D and the roaming being 3D its just not right.
Next is the playability.Don't even try to beat the stalfos they are next to impossible to beat.Controling Link is kinda like trying to move a two ton brick without a power glove.Next thing is the sound its okay but it gets old fast! Now the graphics are good but not wonderful. The lastibility is one thing that saves this game heck it took me 7 months to beat this game! And I died like 527 times (exact number)Overall I cant complain much.Bottom line if you are a Zelda fan and abosoulutely need this game to complete you collection get it! - Brandon J.
