ScreenshotKaboom!!........ This is the sound that you will hear most of the time when you play Super Bomberman 2 since the game is about running around in a maze blasting away enemies and blocks with big bombs. By blasting away blocks on the course you can discover hidden bonuses that let´s you lay multiple bombs (up to nine at once!) or increases the length of the flames of your bombs explosions. You can also get the ability to run faster, kick bombs and bomds and even remotecontrolled bombs that you can trigger on demand! SBM 2 contains 2 different modes, The 1 player mode and the battlemode.

Let´s start with the dullest part of the game the 1 player mode, where you fights you´r way through a series of worlds each consisting of 10 - 15 levels and a boss. This is quite fun until you have finished it once, because I doubt you will come back to play through the whole adventure again. This where the Battle mode comes in invite 1 - 3 friends and blast away on a singlescreen arena! 4 Bombermans controlled either by the SNES or a human runs around throwing bombs after each other and the last Bomberman standing is the winner! You can play "everybody against everybody" or in teams of 2 Bombermans. There are 5 different arenas to choose from like ones with teleports and other weird things but in reckon that the original brick arena is the best. The winner gets a golden Bomberman statue and the one to first reach a sertain number of statues (can be put to either 3, 4 or 5) winns the game and gets the chance to spin the "wheel-o-power ups" and get a powerup that he/she will start every turn with the following game! Super Bomberman is THE multiplayergame for the SNES, okay maybe after Super Mario Kart! If you play it alone you´ll very soon get bored but with lots of mates and a multitap you wont get tired of this game the following decade!  - Mattias Liedholm 86%
