This has the basic story line of the normal Action RPG, a group of people are forced together through mysterious circumstances and travel on a journey on which on members come and go.
In this game though the main character is Will, a small boy who went on an expedition to the Tower of Babel and was the only one of the party to make it back, and he has no recollection of how he got back, also since then he has pocessed a strange psychic power that allows him to move statues using only his flute. He sets out on a quest to find his Father , who was the leader of the Expedition team, Will searches throughout the world for his father, collecting the mystic statues , he thinks will help him in his quest. Along the way Will finds out more about his powers from Gaia, the giver of all life.
The game lasts around 60 hours for the average player, as most RPG's are supposed to, and it lasts longer if you go on the 50 red jewel quest that allows you to access a secret level.

The characters -
Will aged 15 is the main character . His mother passed away when he was very young and his father was lost in a journey to the Tower of Babel, that was a year before this game begins. Has been living with his grandparents in South Cape.

Kara aged 15? another one of the most important characters. She is the daughter of King Edward, and resides in a castle on the outskirts of South Cape. She is extremely spoilt , along the way she gets on the parties nerves. But Kara along the way becomes less annoying and spoilt and soon becomes 'one of the gang'.

Lilly aged 14 a friend of Will's grandmother, and new his late mother . Lilly is a resident of the invisible Village called Itory and has the weird ability of being able to turn herself into a dandelion!

Lance aged ?? Will's best friend and goes to the same school as Will. His dad was on the journey as Will and his father. Usually hangs out with Will and his friends at their Cave Club house.

There are many other characters in this game but these are the main characters.

This is one of the best RPG's I have ever played and it has a great story line, and its one of those games you always seem to come back to.
Extras - Known as the Illusion of Gaia in the US and there is a Sequel released in Japan only, called Terranigma (Note: this game has also been released in Europe). The prequel is called SoulBlazer over here in the west. . - Matthew Stock 93%
