Sim City is one of my favorite SNES games. It's the kind
of game you just can't stop playing! You start off with a bunch of money,
with that you can start to put down houses, buildings, roads, etc. Then as
you progress your village will turn into a town, then city and so on. This
is the hardest part in the game because you then have to try to accommodate
your residents by lowering the tax rate, buying more police and fire stations
and basically
spending more money. A good strategy is to think like your
residents do. So put a police department close to residential and commercial
areas, don't put a factory close to the city put it far away so that residents
don't complain about pollution and so on.
To make the game a bit more challenging there
are disasters all the time like tornadoes, fires, earthquakes, UFO's and even
Bowser comes for a visit to demolish your town. As your city gets better you'll
be offered presents which are casinos, zoos, expos an so on. When you put
these down you will get a higher population, which is always good. When you
play this game you'll agree that it's a classic SNES game and with MSRP of
$39.99 you can't ask for more. - Mathew Persram 95%
