Some years ago the evil scientist Andross that was banished from the peaceful planet Corneria for making dangerous experiments extremely close to populate areas . He was sent to the desert planet Venom where he in secrecy started to build up his now gigantic fleet . Now he has declared war against Corneria an his starfleet has defeated all resistance and is now heading for Corneria. This when the Star Fox team consisting of Fox Mccloud, Falco Lombardi, Slippy Toad and Peppy Hare are being contacted. With the aid of the Cornerian army´s newest state of the art battleships the Arwings they will have to fight their way through Andross´s big fleet and finaly confront Andross himself. You controll the leader of the Star Fox team Fox Mccloud and you three teammates are controlled by the SNES. This is the first game to use the FX-chip to create the "fantasic" 3d worlds in Star Fox. You have a choice of 3 different routes, the easy normal and hard route. Each of the routes ends with a visit at Andross´s place at Venom. On each of the games 15 different levels the Star Fox team has to face atleast one big mean boss. These bosses are the greatest thing about this game they range from gigantic armada battleship to big two-headed dragons! The easy and normal courses paths aren´t to hard to beat but the hard path takes many days of intense play until they it´s finished. There are also 2 secret worlds, the black hole and the wacky "out of this dimension" level where you becomes attacked by leathal paper airplanes and where the boss is a big slotmachines shooting missiles after your team. The challenging hard path will make this game last a while and when you have finished that you can always try to get a 100% kill percentage on all the levels. - Mattias Liedholm 91%
