Four Sword Adventures

Enemies

Animated Force Gem
An enemy that looks like a 100-piece Force Gem. Normal sword attacks will dispatch it.

Armos
A moving statue. Normal sword attacks will do, but some are too strong to kill.

Ball & Chain Soldier
A difficult enemy. The best method is to use a Downthrust attack with the Roc's Feather.

Beamos
They shoot lasers at you. The best defense is to hide behind solid objects.

Bee
You can't kill them. Just run away.

Bomb-Throwing Guard
Guards that throw bombs. Normal attacks will do.

Bombchu
These enemies will home in to kill you. The only way to stop them is to stop where they come from.

BowWow
Chain Chomps from Mario Brothers fame. It can't be killed, so just avoid it.

Bubble
They bounce around and will do damage if you hit them. Cannot be killed.

Buzz Blob
A electric blob, normal sword attacks will hurt you. Kill it with long range weapons or stun it with a boomerang to use your sword.

Cheep Cheep
Can't be killed, just a underwater hazard to avoid.

Deadrock
The squirrel-like creatures on Death Mountain. Hammers will deal with them. The screen full of deadrocks will require you to use the movable house.

Dodongo
Feed them bombs to kill them, but beware of their fire-breathing powers.

Eyegore
Shoot them in the eye while it's open.

Floormaster
These hands will drag you into the Dark World. You can't kill them, so don't stand in one place too long.

Geldman
These enemies emerge from the desert sands. Normal attacks will do.

Gibdos
Powerful mummies, normal attacks will do.

Gohma
These large one-eyed spiders are invulnerable to all weapons except Bow and Arrows. A few good attacks in the eye will do the trick.

Hardhat Beetle
They have rock-hard defense. When you can, just knock them into a hole.

Hinox
These one-eyed cyclops have given up their bomb-throwing days and took up shaking people up for Force Gems. Normal attacks will do, but don't get to close.

Keese
Bats, normal attacks will do.

Leever
Like Geldman, only more common. Normal attacks will do.

Moldorm
Worm creatures that scamper about. Normal attacks will do.

Octoballoon
A giant octopus... that explodes! Watch out for the blast.

Octorok
A normal enemy that shoots projectiles. Be wary of colors other than red, which are a lot stronger.

Pengator
While you're slipping around on the ice, they'll be barreling into you. Normal attacks will do, but the Fire Rod works wonders.

Psuedo Force Gem
A Like-Like type creature, except it eats force gems. If you're caught in one, get your friends to help. Normal attacks will do.

Rat
A weak, annoying enemy. Normal attacks do.

River Zora
A enemy that hangs around in the water. Projectiles work best, watch out for their fire attacks.

Ropa
A enemy that looks like a sack full of worms. Normal attacks will do.

Rope
A snake that will charge at you if you are directly horizontal or vertical to them. Normal attacks will rid you of them.

Soldier
Soldiers are not too tough, but normal attacks will do.

Slime
When you transform enemies with the Quake Medallion, you are left with pitiful slimes. Normal attacks will do.

Stalfos
These stalfos attack with sword and shield. Normal attacks will do.

Stalfos Knight
Larger stalfos, they are usually the Cursed Knights of Hyrule, but their are others in the game. Wait for them to strike and then attack.

Thief
A nuisance in Kakariko Village. You can pick them up and throw them in the little prison in the northern part of town.

Trap
A common Zelda dungeon hazard. If you get directly in their path, they'll run into you. You can't kill them, so be wary.

Turtle
A tough enemy with a soft underbelly. Flip 'em over with the shockwave from your hammer and dispose of.

Thwomp
Another friend from the Mario games, these large guys are only trouble if you're beneath them. Otherwise they make good platforms.

Vulture
These pesky brids will circle around you. Normal attacks will do, a friend can help get rid of them easier.

Wallmaster
These hands drop from the sky and will return you to the beginning of the room.

Wizzrobe
These pesky wizards shoot a burning path of fire. Be careful you're not near any grass or bushes when they fire. Normal attacks will do.
