Songs in Majora's Mask

Song of Time:


Purpose: Saves the game and returns you to Day One.
How to get it: Confront the Skullkid after midnight on the third day of the first three-day cycle, and hit him with a bubble. He'll drop the Ocarina, and you'll learn this when you pick it up.

Inverted Song of Time:


Purpose: Slows the flow of time to 50% its normal speed.
How to get it: Automatically obtained when you get the Song of Time, even though they don't show up on the status menu.

Song of Double Time:


Purpose: Skips to the next evening (6pm) or morning (6am).
How to get it: Automatically obtained when you get the Song of Time, even though they don't show up on the status menu.

Song of Healing:


Purpose: Makes fairies appear from Gossip Stones and is used to get the Deku, Goron, Zora, Kamaro's, and Gibdo Masks.
How to get it: After you play the Song of Time for the first time, the Happy Mask Salesman will teach this to you and give you the Deku Mask.

Epona's Song :


Purpose: Summons Epona in field areas, makes cows give you a bottle of milk, and makes fairies appear from Gossip Stones.
How to get it: Go to Romani Ranch on Day 1 or 2, destroying the boulder that blocks the road with a powder keg. Talk to Romani, and you'll receive this if you promise to get rid of the phantom ghosts. You don't have to keep the promise but you'll get a bottle if you do it.

Song of Soaring:


Purpose: Allows you to warp to any owl statue. In temples, returns you to the entrace.
How to get it: The owl is waiting at a statue in Southern Swamp on a ledge. Meet him there, and he'll teach you this.

Song of Storms:


Purpose: Makes rain fall, cures "curse" effect, pacifies Sharp's ghost, and makes fairies appear from Gossip Stones.
How to get it: Wear the Captain's Hat in Ikana Graveyard on the 1st night, and the Stalchildren will obey your commands. Tell them to open the grave, and they'll create a pit to a room dungeon. Shoot the braziers with fire arrows, and go through the door to the final room and defeat the Iron Knuckle.

Sonata of Awakening:


Purpose: Makes Woodfall Temple rise from the water, and awakens sleeping Deku and Skull Keeta.
How to get it: Talk to the monkey in the Deku Throne Room as Deku Link and take out your instrument. He'll teach you the Sonata of Awakening.

Goron Lullaby:


Purpose: Puts all Gorons to sleep, and is needed to enter Snowfall Temple.
How to get it: Talk to the elder Goron, and he'll teach you the beginning of the lullaby. Go to the Goron Village, and play the intro on the drums to the crying baby Goron, and he'll teach you the entire song.

New Wave Bossa Nova:


Purpose: Restores Lulu's voice, and is needed to enter the Great Bay Temple.
How to get it: Return all 7 Zora eggs to the Great Bay Lab, and they will hatch and assemble the song, and you will learn it.

Elegy of Emptiness:


Purpose: Creates a duplicate (max of one for each form) that can stand on switches as if that character were standing on them. Needed to enter Stone Tower Temple.
How to get it: Beat the King's Guard in the Ancient Castle of Ikana, and you will learn this.

Oath to Order:


Purpose: Summons the four guardians at the end of the game.
How to get it: Complete the Woodfall Temple, and a cinematic will take place, and you'll learn the song.

Scarecrow's Song :

??????
Purpose: As in Ocarina of Time, you compose your own song by telling it to Pierre, and when you play it somewhere, you can summon him as a hookshot target. You cannot take this song back in time with you.
How to get it: Compose a song for Pierre.
