-ZELDA 64, PLUS MORE!: We all want it. Miyamoto spoke of it. Now we might be getting it. An add-on to The Ocarina of Time. Last year at E3, Shigeru Miyamoto spoke of an add-on for Zelda using the 64DD called Ura-Zelda. But, Nintendo of America, a few months later, broke our hearts announcing that the 64DD would not see the light of day here in the land of the free. Now, almost a year later, the dorks over at The Nintendo Underground reported that Nintendo is now planning on transfering Ura-Zelda to a lock-on cartridge for use with the normal N64. What could this mean for Zelda fans? New weapons, new enemies, new levels, and more. Lets just hope this doesnt turn out to be another rumor. -A NEW FRAUD DISCOVERED: About a week or so ago, hype began building around the internet of one Legend of Zelda website, The Golden Land, that was planning on revealing how to get the legendary Triforce in the Ocarina of Time. They told us, like they said they would, and not a whole lot happened for about a week, mainly since it was such a complicated process that no one had achieved it yet, until yesterday. Yesterday, Belgarath, the guy who claimed he found it, admitted that he had just made it up. Well? Anyone? -YOUR VERY OWN OCARINA: With the huge success of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, over 3 million copies sold at last count, 6 million expected by March, its fairly obvious that someone is going to try to profit off of Nintendo's success. That someone has become SongBird Ocarinas, who is now offering ocarinas that resemble the ocarina given to Link by his dear friend Saria. When you purchase one of these ocarinas, you will also receive a song sheet which tells you the notes to songs that you play in the game. Pretty nifty, huh? -THE TRUTH BEHIND ICE: I'm sure all of you have heard by now of the death of Ice, the webmaster of Ice's Zelda Central. Not much was revealed by Magisuth, one of Ice's staff members, just that he had died. Well, recently Navie, another staff member, confessed to The Zelda Headquarters what really has really been going on with Ice. Shortly after his sister's death three months ago tomorrow, Ice became another one of the many run-away teenagers, attempting to flee from his problems. The last time he was spotted was eighty miles from his home, and that was before Christmas. It has now come to the point where both the police and Ice's parents have given up hope, and are now assuming that he is dead. Our condolences, again, go out to Ice's family and friends. -WE
BID ADIEU:
On the morning of Monday, November 23rd, the sister of Ice, the webmaster
of Ice's Zelda Central, was found dead. Ironically, this day, which was
supposed to be one of rejoice for gamers everywhere receiving their copy
of The Ocarina of Time for the very first time, November 23rd turned into
a day of morning for Ice, and his family. Now, barely three months later,
Ice himself has passed away. Magisuth, an employee of Ice's Zelda Central
brought the news to the internet three days ago, Monday the fifteenth.
Magisuth failed to mention Ice's age or his cause of death, but did reveal
the fate of Ice's site. |
