Hello, I am Link,
also known as the Hero of Time.
I am going to tell you something,
Something I feel that has to rhyme.

About Something I felt years ago,
but have been afraid to tell.
I have been drowned by love,
in this princess by this dreaded spell:

Do I love her, or do I not?
I guess I'm tied with 2 things to choose..
Should I tell her, or shall I keep quiet?
I guess I have nothing to lose.

If she says, "I love you too",
I would be filled with glee...
But then again, if she just thinks I'm a loser..
I would be filled with misery.

I'll go and tell her, I guess.
And take a chance for her love (which is quite insane).
And I'll have to experience true cherish for her,
or else feel a lot of pain.

So I went to her,
and told her what I just told you.
She responded in a way,
that I could tell was the truth.

One thing I will not tell you,
is how she replied to my confession.
I will leave that information
in only my possession.

For whoever finds this poem
that I have just explained
may also experience
either my joy, or pain.

It really depends on what I felt,
Joy or pain.
I can tell you that one of these
emotions will happen to you, quite the same.

Later on, 2 years from now
you will feel what I felt a hundred years ago.
For I have sent this poem from Heaven
To the land of Hyrule below.
