Zelda's Dream
The moon started to rise,
Big as it come o'er the horizon,
But as the full moon climbed
Higher and higher
It remained huge.
Eyes, nose, and mouth
Came over the moon's surface.
Suddenly, the moon did fall
And the land was crushed
Underneath the moon's bulk.
Then a mysterious shape
Came into view and laughed maniacally.
Thus was Zelda's Dream.
The First Three Days
Zelda went to Kokiri Forest
To tell Link her prophecy.
He immediately agreed to go
And find this land.
Link set off through the Lost Woods
With the horse, Epona.
Some time later, Link was attacked
By the mischievous Skull Kid.
Link woke up and caught the child
Stealing his ocarina.
The Skull Kid saw Link awake
And ran away.
Link gave chase and went through
A tree and fell down.
The Skull Kid turned Link
Into a Deku Scrub.
Even though the child escaped,
Link continued the chase,
Despite the odds in a fight.
He met a mysterious man on the way
Who claimed he could help Link out,
But Link would have to get
An ancient relic called
Majora's Mask.
Link had to hurry,
For the man had to leave in three days.
Link wondered why the man had to leave
In such a short time.
He entered a village called Clock Town to begin his search
And when he looked up, he saw the moon overhead
In broad daylight.
Link now knew why the man had three days
And that this was the land he was destined to save.
Barred from exiting the town,
Link found a secret passage out.
He got the precious gem,
The Moon's Tear,
And traded it back in Clock Town
For the use of a Deku Flower.
At midnight on the Final Day
Link used the flower to enter the Clock Tower.
After a short struggle with the Skull Kid,
Link took his ocarina back.
He remembered playing the Song of Time,
So he did.
Woodfall
Link found himself outside of the Clock Tower
On the morning of the First Day.
He was changed back to Hylian form.
Filled with a new hope,
He continued his quest.
Link headed south
To the land of the Dekus.
After a hard search,
He found the Deku Temple ,
Woodfall,
And entered it.
He searched the temple's depths
And came upon
The Masked Jungle Warrior,
Odolwa.
After a short battle,
Link was victorious and he earned
Odolwa's Remains.
Snowhead
Link was transported to the heavens,
Where he met a strange god.
He tried to talk to Link
80 And he taught him a song.
Then in Link's next three days,
He headed to Snowhead in the north.
Link found a Lens of Truth
And with it found the Spirit of Darmani.
He followed the Goron's ghost.
He healed the spirit's soul
And received the Goron Mask.
He could now find his way to
Snowhead Temple .
He explored the mountainous edifice
And discovered in its heights
Was the Masked Mechanical Monster,
Goht.
Link raced around and caused the boss damage.
Once Goht was killed, Link was given
Goht's Remains.
Great Bay
Link talked to another god
Before returning to Clock Town.
And a new cycle began,
Link going to Great Bay in the west.
But a gate barred his way,
Causing delay.
Goron Link received bomb certification,
Helping him clear the way to
Romani Ranch.
There he found his horse, Epona.
Link agreed to help Romani
To protect the ranch's cows
From an alien invasion.
After doing so, he got back Epona,
Who leapt the bay's gate.
Before Link could get to the temple, however,
He needed the form of a Zora.
Link found the dying Mikau
And put his soul to rest.
Now that Link could transform into a Zora,
He could head to
Great Bay Temple,
But his way was blocked even more.
Link found out that seven Zora eggs were missing.
He went to the Gerudo Pirates' Fortress
And Pinnacle Rock to retrieve them.
Finally, he came to the temple.
After two days searching,
Link came upon
The Gargantum Masked Fish,
Gyorg.
After a deadly fight,
Link emerged as victor.
He retrieved his reward,
Gyorg's Remains.
Ikana
Link talked to another god
Before going back in time
And heading in the final direction, east.
He learned of a song that would lift the curse
Of one of Ikana's souls.
After playing it, he could get a mask to fool the dead.
While exploring a well, Link acquired a Mirror Shield.
With the shield, he defeated the King of Ikana,
Igos du Ikana.
And learned a song that would help him
Get up Stone Tower and enter the temple.
Link did so and in the depths he found Light Arrows.
Now that Link could flip Stone Tower Temple upside down,
He could get the Giant's Mask and face
The Giant Masked Insect,
Twinmold.
After killing the pair of insects,
Link got hold of
Twinmold's Remains.
Majora Versus the Fierce Deity
Link talked to the final god,
And now he was ready to get Majora's Mask.
But since he had time to kill, he went around Clock Town
Helping the inhabitants,
Becoming friends with Anju and Kafei
At midnight on the Final Day,
Link once again entered the Clock Tower
He called forth the gods and followed
The Mask of Majora up to the moon.
He gave his masks that he had gathered on his adventure
To children running around a field.
The final child, wearing Majora's Mask,
Gave him the Fierce Deity's Mask
And challenged Link to a game.
The battle began with Majora's Mask,
Which Link defeated easily with the might of the Fierce Deity.
Link then fought Majora's Incarnation,
And once again won the fight.
In one last attempt, Majora turned into his ultimate form,
Majora's Wrath.
After a difficult battle, Link won.
With the evil leaving the mask,
The moon disintegrated and Termina was saved.
Link left the grateful land and so was
The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. |
