A new interview with Aonuma has shed some light on the future Zelda games, especially the upcoming one for DS. Not alot of info, but it's better than nothing. Go read now!

Chapter Twenty-five , "Jewels in the Dark," of The Book of Mudora is up. This fulfills my obligation to TGA, and so now I can go on vacation. Whooo! My plane leaves in exactly four hours, and so I'm really excited about going.

By the by, if you're in the Los Angeles area and you happen to have a ticket to go to the Animé Expo (commonly known as AX) from 2 to 5 July, I will be there. At least one of the days I will be dressed like Headmaster Cid from FFVIII with a slew of other cronies from the same game; otherwise I'll probably be dressed in street clothes with a Link cap on my head. My nametag will proudly proclaim me to be "The Missing Link" from TGA, so if by any chance you happen to see me, give me a wave. However, my honest hunch is that I won't see anyone and that I'll have to go home crying. *sniff* Not really, but you get the point!

Chapter 25 is about halfway finished. It will be up some time by early Friday morning; I'm going to keep this promise.

I should probably tell you WHY I'm keeping this promise. I'm going on vacation Friday. It's a decently long vacation, going all the way to July 6. (Yes, I know you all will miss me.) That means no updates from me, but that's why I have my loyal staff minions helping me.

So how does this affect things? Until I get back, Masamune is in charge; please E-mail him your gripes and woes about how horrible a site TGA is! Second, if you forget and E-mail me, don't respect a reply any time soon; while I might have access to E-mail where I'm going, I might not, and even if I do, I probably will only be using it to keep in touch with those closest to me. Lastly, this has nothing to do with me leaving, but... I'm working on a new side project. I'm sure you'll hear a lot about it over the coming weeks; it's going to be a special gift for all of our visitors to celebrate an upcoming event, but I thought I'd at least incite the curiosity level for a while.

So, that's that, and I will make an update tomorrow. My promise.

After being prompted by Hero of Winds, I got the Master Quest game page up. Of course, he did all the writing and I got stuck with the fun part of putting it all up. Enjoy.

Updated the OZE. No new entries (yet!) but I did link all the entries from The Adventure of Link to their related images. Just click the name of the entry. HOWEVER, realize that the images link to a image gallery on Gamehiker.com, which is on another server. So there is a remote chance that while TGA is up, the gallery will be down and vice versa. Such complication are unavoidable - so please don't e-mail me about it.

Okay, sorry for the goof up. (It was my fault, really.) The link to the new Say What didn't get updated properly, and I've fixed that. My apologies.

Excuse for the week: I've been working my butt off and haven't had time to write. I worked 47 hours last week, and, yeah, it was pretty bad. I'm hoping to get one up by Thursday, and it better be up by Thursday since I'll be gone for a week and a half starting Friday. So, let's mark this down as one of my promises. Book of Mudora this week. Promise.

So as all of you know, Zelda: Four Swords Adventures came out yesterday, and after playing both the single player and multiplayer modes for a while, I have only one thing to say. You have to get this game. From a single-player perspective, the game is a challenge. From a multiplayer perspective, it is a hilarious series of antics as everyone competes yet cooperates with one another to defeat each level. I updated the Four Swords Adventures page, telling you my thoughts and the storyline for the game. Enjoy.

Secondly, the next Book of Mudora chapter will probably be out this weekend. This week is both finals week and Four Swords Adventure week for me, so you can imagine it's very busy! However, the latter reason isn't because I'm spending all my time playing it for fun. I'm actually stalling to find out the story of FSA before I get past A Link to the Past in the story because, in my timeline, Four Swords is supposed to be up after LttP; needless to say, I'm just checking for any plot contradictions before I get too far, only to find out that I goofed. So hopefully this weekend.

Aounuma mentioned in a recent interview that a Zelda DS title -is- in the works, though it will most likely not be a launch title. Details can be found in the News section or here.

Promise kept. Chapter 24, "The Pendants of Virtue," of The Book of Mudora is online. Happy reading!

I look back to the past when I started writing this story, and I realize that The Book of Mudora has changed significantly since the dawn of the first chapter. Since January when I began writing the story again, I have doubled the number of chapters in, what I now lovingly call, my novel, and I have finally broken 200 pages with the newest chapter. The fun thing is, at best, I'm not even through the fourth of ten Zelda games, eleven if you count the upcoming Four Swords Adventures. I'm so grateful for all of the complements you've all given me through E-mail, and I'm glad you're all enjoying the story. I know many people would be disauded by 207 pages worth of story, but I am grateful that many of you have kept with me despite that. I thank you very much, and hopefully the next twelve chapters (and even beyond that!) will be just as entertaining for all of you.

Falling behind... falling behind. Excuse of the week? Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. Blame him. The chapter is written, but it is not yet revised. And Quality Control (a.k.a. my conscious) can't post it without a good revision. (The goddesses know the number of mistakes I find!) Today. Sometime. Promise. And this time, I mean it.

Ah! My first actual update! Well, after a little technical difficulty, I'm pleased to announce that updates of Maniac Swordbreaker's Feelings and Memories and The Wild Horse Chase: Pol's Voice Returns are up, along with Maniac Swordbreaker's newest completed fic, Somewhere I Belong, You'll Be There Waiting! Many more will follow (hopefully) so please, send in your fics. Remember, though, when you send, to attach them and give the pen name you'd like to go by! Surprisingly there have been a lot of people who have forgotten that. And as a last note, please put something to the effect of 'Fanfic Submission' when sending things in. Sadly, I get a lot of junk mail with attachments and I have no idea what's what sometimes. Thank you!

Link Skywalker has written up a nice little article covering all the nice rumors floating around about the Nintendo DS; it's a good read. Secondly, I'm estimating that the second chapter of The Book of Mudora will be up either Thursday or Friday. Promise.

You'll also notice that there's a new picture for our splash screen courtesy of Some Girl. She's great, is she not?
