OMG An Update!
You've all been bugging me about updating. The TML is here to provide. Don't never say the TML didn't do nothing for ya's.

First off, as per what you've been hoping for, Eloze has been updated as Dark Link finished up "The Far Sea" a bit ago. There's 19 chapters in that stretch of the novel, and it's pretty good stuff from what I skimmed through, so I think you'll enjoy it. Also, if you'd like to be on the mailing list for Eloze, you'll want to E-mail "quillandlauren at yahoo dot com" and put "ELOZE E-mail List" in the Subject line; that as well as this site will keep you in the loop on Eloze.

However, there's more to this update...

I think it goes without saying that I've been trying to think about what to do with TGA for a while now. Since May, life got really bad as I was getting jerked around at work really bad for several months to the point where it was bad for my health. Since then, I've moved to the West Coast and gotten a new job within the gaming industry, something that I've wanted to do since I was, like, nine years old. My life is much better now, and finally I'm beginning to settle into my new environs now.

I've said I've been planning to come back to TGA to actively update the site for a while, and I've meant it. However, at the same time, I'm looking at the site now and realising that so much has changed. The Games section is missing lots of information, information that (a) I don't have the time to provide and (b) that other sites such as GameFAQs and Zelda Legends are so much better already at providing. The Fanart and Fanfiction sections are nice, but nearly every Zelda site in the community has that, so it's nothing special. As far as News goes, well... yeah, I don't even feel like touching that, especially since that seems to be the lifeblood of every other Zelda site, ZeldaBlog included. Sure, we've got David Linkerman and Say What?, but interactive games have appeared on scores of Zelda forums and websites, just not in the form we have here.

I hate to put it into harsh terms, but aside from a few sections of the site, most of this site--other than the general look and feel of TGA (which I think still looks better than every other Zelda site I've seen on the web), isn't all that special. The two gems that we have here are Eloze and The Book of Mudora (which I will be working on one of these days now that my writing muse is back!). (And my other fiction works, but then, I'm biased!) It's those works that you've been asking me about over E-mail for so long; it's those works that you like the best; it's those works that I like the best.

I have a plan formulating in my head to preserve these works... and indeed, give them the credit that is due to them. However, before I enact that plan, I'd like to hear your thoughts on the matter. I'd like to know what you think about TGA and its history, maybe if there's something that you feel that TGA provides outside that isn't a part of what I just mentioned above. Your input is key on this one, and I'd love to hear your responses. As always, E-mail them to "tml at mudora dot com".

I plan on announcing my plans for this site sometime in the near future. But for now, enjoy Eloze. :)
